The Bastau version is so much better than this one. I recommend "Sinful Passion" 2018, "Adagio" 2017, "Stranger" 2021, "Ave Maria" 2021, "Daybreak" at Bastau 2017, "Your Love", "Olimpico", "Know". Thank you for reacting to our Dimash!

Your opinion which is better is not mine I must say. IMO Both have their strengths. Confessa is a pre Diva treat. Bastau is vocal acrobatics for sure. I think we can all agree Dimash is something pretty special. One in a zillion.....give or take a trillion. Lol

You really need to see the short version from Bastau and you can combine it with Druken Concubine, a duet with Li Yugang where they both do Diva Dance during the performance. He goes even higher, to whistle.

A testament to the genuine person that he is, many of the competitors (all of whom are professional, well known singers) became very good friends with Dimash and performed with him at other venues. All of the songs on his Digital Concert, that he did during the pandemic for his fans, are very good.. Just remember that you will have to filter the video to get it pass YT Bully Police... We are use to it, so do not worry that we won't come and watch. One of my favorite performances is "Love is like a Dream"...You will get to meet Igor, a very important person.....I enjoyed watching Dimash with you this afternoon...

Yeay, you did it! Glad to find this today. I love this version because I love the emotion and then the dramatic change, but as other dears have said the Bastau version is another level up again. I’d love to see you react to it too! It is short, but I guarantee you’re going to want to immediately play it again which is fine by us, and you could also in the same reaction do the third diva dance which he sings alongside Li Yugang who is a traditional Chinese opera singer. There’s an amazing added twist to this performance too. You’ll be blown away I promise! Regards from the UK 😃

I love this version because there are two songs where he demonstrates his rich tones, stage presence. For me, the Bastau version highlights the high notes, but this version demonstrates all of what he can offer. Charisma, singing in three languages , Mandarin, Italian and Alien...❤️🇨🇦😀. Love how you enjoy Dimash’s gift!

You’re right - one of the other contestants on this programme actually admitted on camera that it was really stressful having to sing after Dimash! The competitors on this show are all invited professional singers. They didn't know Dimash because he was the wild card candidate from Kazakhstan and the youngest. But they're not shabby, even though they were awed by him. Many, if not all, became friends despite the language barrier. Now that he speaks English pretty well, he can probably talk to them better. He knows more Chinese now, too. How does he do all this?

That short video of The Diva Dance is where he absolutely goes ‘off the rails’ - technically superior and the closest to the blue alien version - you should watch it. Not to take anything away from this performance which is sublime and fabulous. So many songs to choose from - Latest: Stranger, Ave Maria, Fly Away, Ikanaide, Omir Oter Classics: Sinful Passion, Love is like a Dream, Your Love, Olympico, Know, Passione, Daybreak (Bastau), Across Endless Dimensions, Love of Tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde 🙏🏻🇦🇺

Even though this version is amazing, the short version from his Bastau concert is even better! (There does also exist an old amateur video of a fuller performance of the Diva Plavalaguna's song by Dimash; it's very poor visual quality but the sound isn't too bad. The "SINGER-2017" competition is held in China only with professional singers who are already famous and famous. The competition consisted of 14 rounds and lasted almost 4 months. My first time watching your reaction!! I just have to go back and watch your first one now!! Subscribed and liked!! I have never heard him sing the first bit of the Fifth Element (the opera part in Italian that you mentioned). He only ever does that last lyric free 'vocalise' part. I agree it would be nice to hear him do the Italian bit too. The performance of Diva Dance is good on The Singer but NOT as good as Bastau concert. He changes it every time he sings it. There is a beautiful descending run in the Bastau performance and he ends even higher than the original!!! In another performance (Digital Show? I can't remember) he does a series of staccato notes instead of the run, but his deeper notes are better. What about comparing and contrasting several performances of Diva Dance in the same reaction video? Now that would be really something to see!!

You need to watch the performance from China's New Year's celebration of FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLEBEE/AULD LANG SYNE/China, from several years ago - FLIGHT is one of the most complex pieces written for piano and they have 2 pianos and 2 pianists on stage, Dimash with his vocal gymnastics and closing with Auld Lang Syne - UN-BE-LIEVE-ABLE!!!!! Check out "WAR AND PEACE-Speech and song", from his concert in Dusseldorf - he calls out the war in Ukraine and speaks for the children - he's not only the greatest vocalist in the world, but a humble caring, loving young man who wants peace for all nations- Check out AVE MARIA, written as a prayer for all nations - written by Igor Krutoy, Russian, a take on a Christian song, sung by a Muslim - ADAGIO/Singer, AIDAI-DAIDIDAU- from his first concert is stunning

This song was written deliberately so no human can sing it. But you need to watch the diva dance live at bastau, it’s short but unreal, you could watch that one then drunken concubine + diva dance which is a duet with another amazing singer called Li Yagang, definitely worth a watch

Oops I saw that you had after I watched this reaction, sorry. Please keep reacting to Dimash. He deserves every bit of fame. He said in an interview when he was probably about 15 that he was always told not to get a star head because there is no cure for a star head, he has stuck to that promise all these years. He also sends his teachers videos of his concerts so that they can tell him what he has done wrong and to tell him how to improve, he watches reactions too to look for faults in his performance to correct it and on his bastau concert he sung a song with one of his teachers which is amazing called my swan, the song was wrote for him when he was younger and a beautiful ballad but bastau version he changed to a really good beat so it’s like having 2 amazing different songs
