I will say, I’ve often judged books by their covers. I will also say that doing so has rarely steered me wrong..

Except for the Wheel of Time covers, haha. Most of them look fine at a glance but if you look deeper into them at all they become so fucking cursed, lmao. They're pretty bad covers for one of the greatest series ever written. The Stormlight Archive covers reflect how amazing that series is very accurately, though. Some of the most beautiful art I've ever seen, Michael Whelan is a genius.

Worst cover of a book I’ve actually read would have to be from the Darth Bane Star Wars trilogy, book 2 “The Rule of Two”. I didn’t even want to read that shiiit lol

The goodbye testicles one was just one of those fake covers someone made from a book called Goodbye Tonsils. It's a common thing to take children's books and make the covers adult oriented with stuff like drugs, sex, etc.

I just got that lovecraft book in the mail today! the funny thing is it's part of the Ballantine Adult Fantasy series, and the covers of the other 40 or so are absolutely beautiful
