I'm gonna have to disagree with Samus' Homing Missile and say that Samus' worst move would be her two hit jab as not only isn't the jab not very strong, it can't even combo into the 2nd part of the jab making it very punishable meaning that only the 1st part of jab, that deals a measly 3.6% damage, is going to be even at all useful but even then, using literally any other move is going to be much better than Samus' jab. At least you can pressure with the Homing Missile.

As a Yoshi main, I was able to find ONE use for Egg Roll, and it’s only specifically against King Dedede and only when he’s specifically using Gordo Throw. When you use Egg Roll you can charge through the Gordo, hitting it back and hitting King Dedede as well. That’s literally it

Except literally any decent move can do the same thing. I have a clip that is made up of Dedede firing of a Gordo in a 8 player Smash, where it proceeds to be reflected by Dark Samus Forward Air, Pichu Get Up Attack, of all things, and potentially Ridley Up Smash, which both hit Dedede, and increaced the intensity of the upwards momentum of the Gordo, I don’t know, the entire exchange was about 2 seconds long, and the Ridley/Gordo/Dedede exchange was less than 10 frames.

Everyone already knows that jab 1 infamously doesn’t connect into jab 2, but it actually has its uses. You can dash in the opposite direction and pivot fsmash or grab, depending on what the opponent does after being hit by jab 1. Obviously it’s not ideal, but better than homing missiles, which is a complete joke

It’s only effective as a powerful shield break punish, but it’s held back by it’s extremely mediocre frame data Down B is effective at escaping juggles, but if it gets read, you’ll be left open to grabs and exiting the Stone leaves a gap for Kirby to be punished. Strong but risky

7.0.0 just made several things on this list down right wrong: - Zelda's f-tilt is now so strong that the risk for throwing it out is much more worth is in a lot of situations. Her new worst move is probably f-smash? IDK what it would be but it's not f-tilt. - Remember when Doc's down-tilt was his worst move? Now it's one of his best. Leads into combos and kill confirms into a lot of his moves. His new worst move is definitely up-tilt. - Same thing with Young Link as with Doc. One of his worst moves is now one of his best.

They were not trolling. Dair is slow, has no true follow ups if the opponent can SDI, has a terrible spike, is not safe on shield, and is a terrible landing option. Side B can ledge trap, shield break, shield break punish, and catch certain recoveries.

I know this has already been brought up, but man, I just can't agree with Samus's Homing Missile being worse than Jab 2. Jab 2 has such bad frame data that most characters can literally get hit by Jab 1 and then spot-dodge, shield, or even *hit you back* before Jab 2 connects. The best thing you can do probably 95% of the time after Jab 1 is to run away and throw out something to mix your opponent up. Hell, AFAIK, it's the only move in Smash that's so bad *the in-game tips tell you not to use it*. While homing missile isn't great, you can use it to close off some approaches, in some tech situations, to condition jumps, etc., in situations where committing charged shot to it is prohibitive. It doesn't connect often, but conditioning the reaction to Missile and closing off options with a low-commitment move is still really useful in a lot of situations.

Up air got buffed and down special can edge-guard decently enough, so they're okay. As someone who mains Kirby, I think they picked dair because it comes out on frame 18 (for reference Ganondorf's dair is frame 16), is a weak kill move against any character with a good recovery, and if you fast fall you won't get the last hit which is the spike. Personally, I think hammer is his worst move just because of how situational it is. Kirby's forward smash is faster, has more range, and is safer than hammer. All hammer has is power. It can be a great shield punish but come on, this is Kirby here, when does he break shields? As for down smash, it's not great but not awful. It works for when you know the opponent will roll but you don't know which side they'll be on. It also sends at a nasty angle.

Look, is dair Kirby's best move? Probably not. But it has more purpose in my mind than the moves I listed. The moves I listed (outside of hammer, that's just not good) are not bad moves. I just don't see them as being as useful as Dair. Dair leads into grab, and at low percents grab has combos. Dair also has a long lasting spike hitbox, which makes it really good for edgeguarding. Edgeguarding is one of the few things Kirby does well, and dair is a large part of it.

I HEAVILY disagree with the samus’ homing missile being their worst move. I’m even tempted to say that if you’re basing the move on it’s knock back, even partially, you’re using or thinking if the move’s uses entirely wrong. That low knock back is precisely WHY I believe it is a good move, it reliably sets up into several combos, be it a fair , zair, tether grab, or charge shot, and some times even dash attack if you’re close enough. Sure the move doesn’t track the best, but even then, the fact it tracks at all makes it PHENOMENAL for pressure and zoning, especially when mixing in the other missile, charge shot, and zairs. Her worst move would most definitely be her jab combo. While first hit jab is a surprisingly decent “get off me” attack/panic option, the second hit will almost never connect. And while it is true second hit jab has other uses (such as 2 framing and hitting people hanging on ledge) in many circumstances other tools in her kit (full charge shot, d-tilt, d-smash will be a more reliable option anyways.) second hit jab, in my opinion, adds nothing to their kits outside of offering a little mix up here and there. Homing missile is exponentially better than second hit jab, and this isn’t even touching on the mix up potential being able to switch between the two missiles offers. Not to mention homing missile can offer amazing shield pressure when followed up by a tether grab, or weak charge shot

6.3m GSP, huge disagreement. Samus's jab is a very good conditioning tool, and it's fast enough to be a safe move to just throw out and maintain pressure. Jab1 can combo into Jab2 if you D-special->Jab, as the bomb will explode to create hitstun after jab1. D-special also makes it safe if they shield jab1, and leads into a grab, charge shot(shield break after jab1+bomb), or a shorthop d-air mixup whether they shield the bomb or not. D-special protects you from their out of shield options as well, as many characters like to use tether grabs or jabs out of shield against samus's jab1. As the bomb explodes, you're given an opportunity for an easy grab, shorthop n-air or dragdown up-air. It's like a pseudo neutral reset in close quarter fights where Samus tends to struggle. Don't get me wrong, homing missile does great things, but I find that characters in smash ultimate are much better at getting past walls of projectiles, partially due to the directional air dodge

If you disagree that’s completely fine cuz this my opinion, I really disagree with Kirby’s (I’m a Kirby main) as dair is my most used and trustworthy move. It’s a great combo starter, ok off stage pressure, spikes and is almost impossible to punish on stage because when you land it’s end lag is canceled. It was very hard deciding because all of his moves aren’t really worst than the others but if I had to choose it would probably be down smash. This is because it’s is basically the same as forward or back smash but less powerful and has less range. This is only helpful if you can’t read your opponent and you don’t know which side they’ll be on but if you can read the opponent which if your at a decent level or played the game for a while should be pretty easy. I still don’t know for sure but this is all just from experience but I really don’t think down air is the worst.

Dair is extremely possible to punish on stage, it's -12 on shield, has ridiculously high startup, and it has 16 frames of landing lag if you don't autocancel it. Downsmash, while laggy, is disjointed, his fastest smash attack, 2frames, tech chase traps, and sends at a horrible angle for the opponent. Meanwhile, dair doesn't even do what it's supposed to do: start combos. The landing hit advantage is horrendous on almost every character and it can be SDI'd out of easily, or just avoided on reaction by any competent player. It might seem like a good move at lower levels of online play but you will get punished for even throwing the move out in neutral at high levels of play.

James Truitt very true, I do agree with the offstage end lag dreadful and the start up is pretty trash but I guess it’s different for everyone I find it hard for my opponents to punish but probably because I use it very safely so it probably is but I find it very helpful but then that probably just comes down to play style and opinions. In my set I rarely use down because for me it isn’t that reliable and I do sometimes use it because of the disjoint but I just prefer forward or back but then again it’s impossible to tell witch move is the worst in Kirby’s move set 😅

Neutral B is bad unless you're fighting wolf or G&W, Side B is so situational that it's not worth even using it in a real match, Up B is a terrible recovery option and Down B. Down-air is also bad overall (a weak spike and frame 18 aerial with poor combo potential) but at least it can be used as combo extender due to that poor knockback.

Hammer is most definitely his worst move. D Air is actually pretty useful for edge guarding and is a good way to break through the opponent's shield with a short jump + D Air into it. Not sure what the people who called it the worst move for this video were thinking here. Side B hammer has so much lag before and after the damage hit box that it is incredibly easy to miss, be absorbed by the shield, and/or be punished straight after using it. Even if you land it on a shielded opponent you would need a fully charged hammer to possibly break it and that will never happen in any normal scenario. It's not a good ability to smash people out even when it is highly charged. The only time I have found it somewhat useful is to surprise the opponent while engaging from the air, but those opportunities rarely present themselves the higher skilled the opponent is.

hhh hhh 1:Hammer is better than DAir imo (not by much though), it can cover every ledge option except jumps and letting go, can break shields & if you do break someones’ shield it’s the best possible punish, DAir has 2 combos(frame 18 btw) which are minus on shield, can’t kill puff at 100% & and is outclassed by every other aerial Kirby has. Hammer sucks but imo DAir is worse(again, not by much) 2:DAir is -12 on shield all of his other aerials are safer(FAir is -6, BAir is -6, NAir is -3, UAir is -3) 3:What Kirby approaches in the air facing away and doesn’t use BAir? Even when you’re opponent is below you they have 18 frames to react. 3:Landing FAir also combos into jab & has more horizontal range. 4:Peaches FAir has more horizontal range than all of her other aerials, kills early & is a better move than Kirbys’ DAir.
