You should really look into your HBCU history. Jerry Rice, Walter Payton, Doug Williams are just a few players from HBCUs. Jackson State has as many NFL Hall of Famers (4) as Florida State and Georgia has. More than Georgia Tech, Kansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Florida, Clemson, Louisiana Tech, Michigan State and Mississippi just to name a few. Jackson State football coaching staff has coaches that have played and coached in the NFL Dennis Thurman defensive coordinator, (Dallas Cowboys as a player, Phoenix Cardinals Baltimore Ravens New York Jets as a coach) and others coaches have over 50 years of NFL experience. Jackson State leads the FCS (which has 128 universities) in attendance average of 42,000. Coach Prime is the FCS Eddie Robinson "coach of the year" award winner, Shedeur Sanders is the FCS Jerry Rice "outstanding freshman player of the year" winner.
