As a BYU fan, I have no problem with SMU being ranked ahead of BYU. That SMU team is a different team since they have sorted out their QB situation. But it’s also easy to not be upset about it since BYU isn’t competing against SMU but BSU and the other Big 12 teams.

BYU should be much higher. Disgraceful
@Velly2gКүн бұрын
They don't want to rank them higher because Colorado might play them in a bowl game and win.

Boise at 11-1 with it’s only lost at Oregon. If that was any other team they would get a bye without question

Except for the fact they are playing bottom of the barrel teams every other game. MWC is weak

Which "different teams throughout the country" has the SEC teams IN THE CFP CONVERSATION lost to that weren't another SEC team? I know I know, everybody hates SEC Bias, but I still need it explained to me how a team like Notre Dame playing 10 cupcakes, and LOSING to one of them, suddenly make them something special?
@SenorHomesliceКүн бұрын
The answer is that the “SEC schedule” is a myth. Yes, you deserve credit if you beat an Ole Miss or a Tennessee, but beating a Kentucky or Auburn or Mississippi State isn’t that big a deal. So let’s look at how many games against the top half each team has scheduled. Texas 2 TAMU 3 Georgia 4 Tenn 2 Bama 4 Ole Miss 2 Mizzou 2 LSU 3 --- South Carolina 5 Vandy 5 Arkansas 6 Florida 6 Oklahoma 6 Auburn 4 Kentucky 4 Mississippi State 6 So aside from Georgia and Alabama, the two teams guaranteed to get the benefit of the doubt in any situation, the other teams really haven’t played a more challenging schedule than many other teams. And since the standard response is “VaNdY wOuLd WiN yOuR cOnFeReNcE!!!!!spittle!!!!”, I’ll need you to explain a two-game over .500 bowl record for the SEC over the past five years before I really buy into that. Face it, the conference used the addition of UT and OU to adjust their schedule to angle for as many berths as possible in the expanded playoffs and are expecting people to just look at the SEC on the shoulder and be fine with it.

If Notre Dame loses to Army they should be out 100% no question.

I think BSU can not only get into the playoffs, but get a bye, and maybe even make a run with an upset win. Go Broncos!

Agreed! Their only loss being to Oregon by 3 shows they can compete with anybody
