So basically, Amumu's curse is that anything and i mean ANYTHING he touches just, dies. That's why the lyrics mentioned that he couldn't make friends and that he'll forever be alone

That’s so heartbreaking! Seeing just how much he wanted to be around others

Kinda late here. But an even sadder thing is that he will ALWAYS be alone since not even Death wants to come close to him.

Funfact: the guy who made this as a fan-movie when working at RIOT Games Tech support actually went on to directly work in the creation of Arcane

I love most of Riots cinematics and music but this and the "Kin of a stained blade" just hit me differently and get me so emotional every time

I am so happy you reacted to the curse of the Sad Mummy. There is a running joke that Riot games is a record company disguised as a video game company.

I hope you find time to watch "Frequencies" at some point. It's a documentary sorta about this music video and the creation of the music team. Doesn't have to be a react. I think you'd both enjoy it.

watched a doc about riots music once and they talked about this song. as far as i remember they were on some sort of schedule and had a crazy short amount of time to finish the ending part of the music. i think it might have been like 1-2 days, which makes it even amazing, because its SOOOOOOOOO good! i stopped playing league years ago but when it comes to animations and music, no matter if its kpop or heavy metal or hip hop, the do not take any prisoners. you can just feel how its not done just to promote the game but because they want to make good stuff. like even people that have nothing to do with video games can listen to every song and enjoy it. i mean with all the different accounts they have like 27.000.000 monthly listeners on spotify so... yeah ^^

Love your guys reactions, and so glad you reacted to this. It's one of my favourite music videos! Also I said it before and I'll say it again "Tales of Runeterra" is such a good little series that gives you a glimpse into the world building of different territories of Runeterra and will make you beg for spin-offs. If I had to suggest other cinematics, "The Path, An Ionian Myth" into "Kin of the Stained Blade," they are both related and are a great little anime story. Also "As We Fall" is a great and beautiful music video, and awesome that it represents LGBT. Also Star Guardians are always a fun time! Hope you enjoy them!

If you watch the fade to black at the edges of the video, it's not a filming effect... amumu literally killed everything he interacted with or even got near in the video. You can see plants dying, animals running, and even the soil itself blacken. That's his curse.

Anne Rice's The Mummy was within her vampire series, but it was practically a stand alone. I read it during a time when we only had 2 Brendan Fraser Mummy movies. I could probably try to watch one of the classic mummy films, as I've never seen them and I don't really know why they were iconic. Anyway I have questions like why is this little mummy sad, and why is he so little?

He is little because he is a yordle, one of many races in League of Legends lore and they are all like that. He is sad because he wants to make friends but he kills anyone he touches so he must stay alone.
