Thanks Matt, We always look back on our firsts and laugh. Funny how when we created them we thought they were the BOMB. Look at how far weve come. Thanks for staying grounded, all of your work has been an inspiration to me.

10 years is a long time when it comes to the equipment and software resources we have access to. Technology is making it so much easier to create films. We have more camera power in our phone that we had in shoulder carried video cameras back in the earlier days of wedding videos. We can add transitions and effects with a drag and drop instead of outsourcing our graphics work to a pro. We also have learning resources like Matt that we can use for free training and inspiration before we ever shoot our first paid video.

Looking back we can always see our limitations, but it is not that bad. Just look at newbie KZbinrs, and with a wedding, so much to worry about. Also cameras and accessories have improved greatly. So well done, it has lead you to where you are now. A self employed business. 👍

l filmed my first wedding in August. He was someone l knew from church and told me 15 days before the wedding. He paid me under 1000 for over 10h not including driving to the location which was 40 min away. l had setbacks with editing, due to going on vacation and parents getting sick with covid and needing to take care of them, the editing process took longer than expected. l gave them the rough cut version of it since they were asking last month and he messaged me that night and said it was terrible. my heart sank, l told him that it was only a rough cut and he said there's no way l can save it unless l have some hidden footage which l do since l used two cameras. l was devastated. lm working very hard on their official video and re-editing the rough cut. no one will ever understand how hard you work on something only you.
