As someone who loves to cook, I don't think there's anything weird about rubbing seasoning into meat. It's actually quite satisfying to watch. But then the guy starts tapping and caressing a stuffed watermelon, and I get it now. I understand the sense of unease. These videos are still fantastic.

As someone that tracks macros, sometimes you just want to eat something that can up whatever one you're low on (fats, carbs, proteins). So because they generally, for average sized white and brown whole eggs have about 6 grams of protein, they can be a quick fill. So I have bought hard boiled eggs before just to meet markers LMAO but not very tasty.

Yep ostrich is totally a legal meat. I've seen ostrich dog food and treats! People in the US do farm ostrich and emu so that ostrich likely came from a farm that breeds for meat/eggs. I'd love to try it tbh, I wanna try a lot of meats. Like...people breed bison here too, it's really fascinating. And then you can eat it. Bison is decent.

A dog I sit for is currently eating ground bison as a staple, (she's got a lot of food sensitivities and we just need her to keep eating at this point.) I'm about to cook it for her right now, actually, but like.... *I've* never even had Bison. Tbh there is a small list of dogs I know who eat better than I do 😅

If youd like I could send you some different varieties of wild mushrooms to cook and review, I could also send some recipes I like to use for each type.
