6:09 That was Nigel Mansell, I think that was at the 1984 Dallas Grand Prix and his car broke down on the final lap meters before the finish line and he tried to push his car over the finish line and he collapsed due to exhaustion. It was incredibly hot during the race that day so naturally when you've almost completed a full race distance in that heat wearing a fireproof race suit and you try to push your car over the finish line, your body's gonna tap out. Mansell did eventually go on to become F1 World Champion in 1992 and came pretty close on three other occasions!

It's all Formula 1, it's just going through all the era's all the way back to the 50's, 60's, 70's 80' 90's 2000's 2010's 2020's. That's why they look different. Got to see plenty of the greats there. Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton both 7 time Champions, Senna, Hakkinen etc.

Sparks are normal. The bottom of a Formula 1 car nearly touches the ground, and when the car encounters uneven surfaces on the track, it causes sparks to fly everywhere.

you are correct on the sticker part but the reason they use paint now is to save the extra bit of weight that a sticker wouldve added ontop off the paint

Formula 1 is nearly 80 years old. Redbull has only had a team for bit more then 20 years. Ferrari is by far the oldest team having been in formula 1 front the start and is the only team that has been there since the first race. Its the most successful team with 15 drivers titles and 16 constructors which is the teams title. Every team has 2 cars and 2 drivers. The drivers title is for who scores the most points over the whole season which is about 9 months long. 24 races only top 10 get points. The 2 drivers points in 1 team gets added up for the contructors title. 3 days happen in a race weekend. Friday we have practice 1 and 2 known and called FP which js free practice. FP1 and FP2. On Saturday we have FP3 and Qualifying which is made up into 3 sessions aswell Q1 Q2 and Q3. We start Q1 with all 20 cars and the slowest 5 cars laptimes are the drivers who are out and start between P20 and P16 which is Position. Q2 top 10 only go through to Q3 which is for pole position starting first. Fastest laptime is the man on pole. Race is on sunday they drive 300 kilometers a full F1 race distance. Races with no crashes safety cars or Red flags last one and a half hour to 2 hours long. All drivers have to make at least 1 pit stop to switch tyre. 3 different dry weather tyres. Red is soft yellow medium and white hard. Wet tyres are green inters and blue full wets. They have to switch the type of tyre once so they are not allowed to only use 1 color. Before the start they do a formation lap to warm the tyres thats why they steer left and right. 5 red lights go out race starts from a standing still start. After the race the podium ceremony happens were the top 3 get there trophies the winning drivers national anthem gets played and same for there teams home country.

At the time, some drivers pushed their cars to the finish line due to running out of fuel.

10:10 driver is Rober Kubica. He survived that crash and drove again that year.

I still remember watching that race and that crash live and I was convinced I just saw someone die on live TV. It still blows my mind Kubica had relatively minor injuries from that crash and only missed one race!

that guy with burned face (seen through his balaclava) is legendary Niki Lauda - he was almost burned alive after a crash at Nurburgring, returned after a few races (lost the championship that season) but won it in the next two!

fun fact: Max Verstappen won his first F1 race without a driving license!!

the sparks come from the screws holding a wooden plank on the bottom of the car - it is mandatory in F1 and if the plank is gone or too thin after the race it means the car was too low

they get punished if those pitlane incidents happen (usually a 5 seconds time penalty for "unsafe release")

I don't know how could you know "somethings" when you watch a whole video explaining how it works. My friend would describe someone like you as having a "Brain fish of a memory"🤣

Try watching a make-up history video and then I will ask a review. And lets see how many facts you remember. 😄 Don't expect someone to have a great understanding about sport you love just from video. You got your knowledge from years of following this. Also your comment shows that you care about this sport and I can respect that 💜

@@Vii_BeeYT steering wheel costs +-50k eur, and its detatchable like from all race cars. And they have to remove it to actually get out of car.
