I agree with you. Tim's bass is something else but his voice in this range is the most beautiful. He's able to expresses the emotions of the song much more than using his bass can. If you haven't heard his version of "Can't Help Falling in Love", you should. It's one of my favorites of his & I think you'll really enjoy it. It's an old one with no video but you can find it on here. Thx for the video!

Rob is doing the Avid Indoorsman, a movie podcast with a friend. But I hope he will branch out a bit after he did Nessum Dorma. The thing with Rob and Adam is that they have children, so they try to get more family time. The funny thing with these vides is, I know Tims voice, I know the songs (I have the album). But hearing him sing up there and then hearing him speak is still a head trip

Another great song & beautiful cover by Tim. His range is insane. "Since I Don't Have You" was a 1958 hit single for the doo-wop group the Skyliners. Country music singer Ronnie Milsap had a hit with the song in 1991. Tim added 2 extra songs at the end "Sincerely" & "Gloria".

You are right, the center, if you will, of his range is gorgeous. And as for who to listen to at the end... just like with Home Free - you listen to the gorgeous harmony and don't worry about the individual voices.

There is a reason that Home Free film so many videos in Oregon. Peter Hollens, The Hound and The Fox and Jimmy Bates, Home Free's favorite video producer are all located there. Jimmy Bates was a partner of Reilly and McKenzie Zamber when they started working as Fifgen productions. After the Zambers decided to focus on their own music, Jimmy continued on his own. He has not only filmed for Home Free, but for The Hound and The Fox, Peter Hollens and many others.

Also Home Free’s former promoter/current tour manager Abe Sword lives in Oregon and owns the property where Tim holds his annual Oregon Getaway. I’m pretty sure Tim filmed this video at Abe’s (Tim thanked Abe for the shirt during the video premiere live chat).

The 3 big American acapella basses all have outrageous vocal ranges. Geoff and Tim both show the different parts they are singing while Avi doesn't show it but he is ALL the vocals on his releases too. So they are the lead singer and all of the backing harmonies in their recording and videos. During quarantine this was very handy to be able to sing all the parts themselves - first tenor, 2nd tenor, baritone and bass. In Tim's case he is showing himself singing Austin, Rob and Tim's parts. Tim's favorite style of music is Doo Wop which has small group harmonizing and was popular in the 1950s like a barbershop quartet was in earlier decades. So the multiple Tims are showing the lead and backup singers. Peter Hollens was the first artist to develop the technique of using himself to do all the parts of a harmony and showing it as multiple copies of Peter on the screen. Geoff Castellucci does this all the time as well if you watch his video of "16 Tons". Each Geoff is a different part of the harmonizing "group".

Austin and Tim sing with Sweet + Low Music Co and also have "solo" videos outside of Home Free; alone or with musician friends, some of whom are with S+L. Rob co-hosts a movie review podcast called The Avid Indoorsmen with his friend Eric Beugler. Beugs is a performer in his own right and has been on stage with Tim and Austin and friends. He's been in the background of two Home Free video that I know of; he's the big guy dancing in the cut-off overalls in the Butts Remix/Medley and you'll see him in Can't Stop the Feeling dancing wildly and swinging his shirt around. Beugs is a lot of fun and has no shame. Adam's side project can be seen behind him in a lot of their videos he filmed from home during quarantine; his D&D figures. He's a big gamer and is dungeon master for couple of HF's crew/family. Plus, Rob and Adam are fathers and I know they want to spend time with their sweet little ones. Rob's daughter and son are seen a couple of the quarantine videos. Adam's daughter Cerise is in Sunday Best and in Tim's video Southerner in the Snow when he visits the Rupp home.

One thing - both Adam Rupp & Rob have children...that might be the difference. Rob does have his podcast with Eric Buegler (Buegz we saw in the Butts remix and he also played Santa Claus in the 2020 Holiday Special) The Avid Indoorsmen (a bi- monthly podcast about movies & TV shows they watch). Tim and especially his wife Jenika are frequent guests on the podcast. I've heard Chris Rupp, Adam Rupp and Austin Brown on the podcast, but not Chance. I would so like to hear Chance interviewed as I know he's a fellow lifelong DolFan (Miami Dolphins fan) and moreso now that we have Tua & Waddle on the team from his favorite college team, Alabama. As for this song Pappy D, it was originally released by the Skyliners in 1958 however there might be an earlier version but the most famous is the Skyliners in 1958...it's one of the best classic do-wop songs and Tim does it crazy. I do think Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons did a version too. Check it out on KZbin...but I definitely urge you to listen to the Skyliners version and that is what Tim was going for !! Rob and Adam are fathers and each has 2 children so I'm sure that's what they do in their spare time, being with family, however, Rob does do a podcast with his buddy since schooldays, who is also an acapella singer. Their podcast is called "The Avid Indoorsmen" and they talk about movies and have guests and trivia etc. It's fun to listen too because they are funny.

I think the fact that Rob and Adam both have kids takes up their off-the -road time. Maybe that’s why they don’t have more projects on KZbin. Although Rob does have The Avid Indoorsman podcast with another friend who has been in some of Home Fred’s videos and Adam has his D&D sessions, so that may take up a lot of their time when they aren’t traveling.

Rob has a KZbin channel called the Avid Indoorsmen, with his friend Buegs (he’s the guy in the overalls if you have seen the Butts Remix). I don’t know if anything else Adam Rupp is doing. However, both Rob and Adam have little kids. None of the other three have kids, so they have a little more time,

Somehow I became unsubscribed but that’s been fixed. I keep waiting for videos from the last two shows to pop up-Austin is very sick so Tim sang his parts (so I’ve heard).
