Also, they were one of my most anticipated units, and they gave us it........and I know it's not what the topic of the video is, but their animations are so bad as well, that they should be 1st just for that.

at first i also raised an eyebrow to the 5th year fusions but then he mentioned that "they couldnt build up their atk and def with each attack in slot 3" and its just like damn. you either have to keep squishy whilst doing solid damage, or have them in slot 2 and risk getting cooked by getting your stats up.

@@ultraboost489 No this is factually wrong, let's compare the two increases to see which one had the biggest jump First 9th year power creep: Prior to it the hardest fights were hitting for these numbers - SOH Trunks 2,3million - Fusion zamasu 2million An average of 2,15million And it jumped to: - Gogeta blue 3,6million So thats an increase of 67% Now lets look at the 7th year power creep: - Belmod average 689k And it jumped to: - Broly 1,2million So a 74% increase in stats So the 7th year had a bigger increase in stats, BUT were not even done yet. As Belmods damage was balanced by you using units with type advantage and even then it was still the hardest fight in the game, but by it being with type advantage always the damage is essentially halved and more like 350k So the actual jump from 350k to 1,2million is 342% So yes, the 7th year power creep was bigger than the 9th year one, its not debatable at all

truth idk, i think 7th anni is the biggest jump we've ever had. when you compare it to the 9th, literally 95% of the game was wiped out on the 7th anni, while utlitiy characters that have seals, stuns, and attk down effects are very useful and therefore runnable in the 9th anni. the 7th anni did not bode well for any of those utlity type characters.

I feel like namek goku could be argued to be off the list since he could actually have been used for the first cell max fight He had 2 phases that were weak to build up, then the ending was a teq phase that killed everyone, including the 7th year lr's, so it was damage him as much as possible before he could super to many times Namek goku was able to damage him very decently in slot 2/3 due to his chance to additional in that slot at the time, so I think the fact that he had some staying power at all after the 2022 power creep should get him off here

Ran him against Cell max back then, he was one of the better 'older' units for that fight when the selection of usable cards was nill. Seen people run him in Omega event too. He is generally a decent hail marry option for longer events, when you dont have any better units to use. There are just better units for that role nowadays so he rarely gets any play even in subpar content.

I think number one should be PHY SSJ2 Goku. Bro was incredible on release and one month later he was being obliterated by the red zone. Kid buu at least still got some play being a villain and having a super nullification but goku completely vanished from everyone's teams

Str Kefla is a unit that belongs to a sub category, within a category which has always had a major limitation. Tournament of power units always want to be with other tournament of power units, but she has so many other categories that she COULD be used in, but just doesn’t feel GREAT in. She needs a really strong partner, OR a card with more generic fused fighter links

Agree with the guy 100%. SSJ4 Goku is only at 3 because he can STILL work in slot 1 on hard stages despite everything that was mentioned. Meanwhile, the other two realistically just couldn't once harder content was released. They just stood no chance whatsoever, which was never and still isn't the case for Goku

48:40 they just provided nothing for the team. Forced floaters who are only at 50% dodge and get cooked by normals, only do okay damage, and can't transform. On JP esbr dropped like only a month after their release, they should be #1

Ive been back into dokkan the last few months really hard, and like all the characters listed have gotten me through all of the hard content lately. So i think while they have aged, when a team leans into them fully they can be fucking insane still. And maybe its just because i havent used them before now, and i'm in that honey moon faze still, but both int SS4 goku and the agl blues into vegito have clutched some crazy shit for me.

It’s crazy how STR kefla used to be way worse than str cooler and phy beerus but after their EZAS kefla ended up being by far the best one and it’s not even close she’s still an absolute unit too this day with that EZA

For me, I would agree with STR Vegeta's placement, because it's quite possibly the most stark example of a unit's value plummeting. STR Vegeta I think was teh most valuable unit in the game when he came out, being on a ton of categories, having the best leader skill in the game, and at worst being the 2nd best performing TUR behind Videl. Then, 7th anni came around, and he went from #1 Must Get unit to basically worthless overnight.

definitely agree with most of the list, however it really puts into perspective how long this game has been running. no unit prior to the 5th anni (ezas excluded) was mentioned. i've been playing since the games first year of operation and was surprised some other units werent mentioned.

Personally, I don't think Nameku belongs on this list. And he did forget to mention that even though Nameku sucked in Red Zone, he was one of the only units who could hang in the first Cell Max event, and many people used his team to beat that event the first time.
