We are back with a new JVN reacts and it's AITA Part 3, from the very famous Reddit thread AITA or amithejerk (you know KZbin doesn't like bad words). This has quickly become our most popular series on KZbin and you simply seem to not get enough, so I recorded another one for you. And if a lot of you watch it, I'll probably record a 4th and a 5th and a 6th portion. So here we are. We have some Karens stories today. We are bringing out a drama bridezilla because what's AITA without bridezillas? We have some entitled people. Especially an entitled boss who thinks they are your royal highness. We have some toxic and weird roommates girlfriends. We have some juicy and funny family storytime content containing a monkey - yes a monkey. We have a bridezilla (or crazy bride story) in this video too - oh wait, I already mentioned that! We have stories with this total creep that was voted the creepiest AITA Reddit story of 2022. And quite frankly it's so fun to react to these, and stay tuned because I definitely have a reaction for each. You're going to hear stories about about bridezillas and entitled people and Karens and entitled mothers and entitled fathers and scary toxic brides and creepy stories and bridesmaid drama and crazy stalker guy and so much more. Completely agree but I still think there is an underlying chemistry between naked guy and the girl that has all of them freaked out and is at the root of the original problem as well as everyone's overreactions. Also that there's boundary problems all over the place. He definitely should have just clearly communicated his boundaries better but it's still his private space and they are insane for acting like anything he does on that side of the door is about them. I can't believe anyone listening to their side of the story isn't going- wait, so... he let her know it wasn't appropriate, warned her and now you're mad because he happened to be laying in his bed, his room, naked, with the door closed.... okaaaaaaay... sure.... what a perv. 🙄😅

I think both sides of the naked roommate story are valid. ESH (Everyone Sucks Here) bc she needs to learn to knock, especially in shared living spaces. A room is akin to a home when its your only space for privacy, and you'd knock at someone's front door. And he was definitely laying in wait. Its wierd, its gross. But hopefully they both learned their lessons - dont use your wiener as a scare tactic, and always knock!

Totally agree. I'm really surprised that most people rated it NTA. He _wanted_ her to walk in on him naked. I suspect he spun a fantasy for himself where she liked it, and instead she ended up being creeped out by it, so he backpedaled. And of course, she absolutely should have been knocking. ESH seems like a much better conclusion.

For the roommate thing I actually believe it more because 7 is such a random number that I feel like you would remember it. It sounds like by him telling the roommates girlfriend several times "you could have seen me naked' thats his way of saying please start knocking your invading my privacy.. By barging into his room where he has every right to do whatever he wants she forfeits the right to be mad if she does see something. She was warned about the possible outcome and still did it.. Add to that a good amount of rentals dont let you add or change locks to the doors so even if he wanted to lock his bedroom (which he shouldn't have to do in his own home) he might not be able to put a lock on at all.

I was also thinking that the girlfriend somehow liked the thrill of knowing the roommate is naked, or might be naked. He did mention it a few times prior, yet she kept coming in without knocking early in the morning. In this case he was naked on his bed, but he could be getting dressed or any other common reason to be naked.

I’m constantly having to act the “parent” with mine over things she’s seen on Facebook that are scams! I’m now listed as an authorised person on her credit cards after having to deal with one that set up a recurring charge without permission and thankfully managing to recover the full amount. It’s been slow going, but she’s started to recognise some of the signs now thankfully 😅

I was living for JVN's way of reading and replying to these but the monkey one made me so sad. What a horrible story. The amount of toxic behavior and enabling is stupid awful, I feel really bad for everyone around that woman and pray to God they keep any more living things from having to depend on her. Her husband just had major surgery and needs expensive medication and this wack job is only worried about a damn monkey. Her kids have their own problems, but she's giving all of her money to scammers OVER AND OVER again while emotionally abusing her kids into giving her money. She refuses to listen to any common sense. She's being insanely selfish to think that it wouldn't be detrimental for her sick elderly husband to have a baby monkey in the house. She's insanely selfish to think she can provide for a baby monkey, when she can't even afford it's supplies or medical care and doesn't have the physical or mental fitness to care for any kind of baby. OP needs to take her to a therapist and let then explain how wrong she is. OP and siblings need therapy for undoing the damage she's done to them. Next time she asks about the monkey, OP needs to tell her it's in the same place she left all of their pet cats. The childish entitlement some people have when thinking about pets/prisoner companions is astounding.

Oh my god! He says “it bugs the hell out of him” when she barges in. He’s told her he sleeps naked so don’t barge in because it could be uncomfortable. She continued to barge in. PS: I agree with your first take on the naked roommate situation. Dude should definitely have put up CLEAR BOUNDARIES !! Everything you first said about about it made perfect sense to me. Some people are raised differently and aren't taught to knock. omg the roommate story is so infuriating, no one would be saying that he did it intentionally if he was female! he warned and tried to get her to knock, and now i bet she doesnt just barge in anymore. if he was a bit older he would know to threaten her and his buddy that she needs to go if she cant respect his space, but at 21 with ur buddies joking about breaking your boundaries i feel like this was the way to go and this is coming from someone who has problems looking at male genitalia cause of previous trauma. i totally get where the idea of 'please dont randomly flash people' comes from, as i would be one of the people to look out for. so i would NEVER put myself in a situation where i could accidentally see someone's privates. all bodies are beautiful, please enjoy them in the comfort of your own private space, its not your fault someone wont give that to you

First off, I'm on the asexual spectrum JVN, so be open, lol! Second off, I really don't know if ITA: I just started at a fabulous queer non-profit! Dream job! The HR/exec asst--of our tiny 8ppl team--went on bereavement which is very sad. But she did not advertise our guest presenter for one of my programs as is her job, so I went to our director because I didn't want to "correct" her during bereavement, and she said because I didn't go to her I did not give her the "grace to grieve" and she has been giving me dirty looks and intentionally ignoring me every day since (2mos). I pulled her aside to apologize if I came at her sideways at a hard time for her, I made her a beautiful sympathy card, and I asked if there was anything I could address to help us work better together. She said no, she can't be nice to me. So I now work with her only professionally and ignore her otherwise because it reminds me of high school mean girl trauma. AITA?
