Equipe saddles are amazing. I have one for my horse and out of all the jump saddles I have ridden in it will always be my favorite. Unfortunately they are expensive though😭

When I went to try my mare- she was a very good competition horse and I had only been riding 2 years at a riding school... You can guess how that was but I fell in love with her as she was the best behaved on the ground and worked tirelessly to learn how to ride her properly. Even going to equine college to make sure I was doing it right ;-;. 3 years on and after a broken leg (hers not mine but she is ok now) we are jumping 1m15 classes properly and are having the best time. Like you have with Nero, she was my dream as soon as I saw her.

I haven't been able to go out and try a horse. All of mine are ones my sister said weren't good enough or just outgrew. So when I finally got to get on my heart horse, never was broke in but was born and raised on my farm. I wasn't a very good rider but she taught me and just sitting on her feels different in a good way than better horses. I'd of course like to go and try horses and bring one home but I don't think it'll be any time soon.

TBH the Prestige saddles are far better and way more adjustable than an Equipe that I think it was a trade in your favour not hers.

i was looking a bit at Nero's body language during the video, he looked like he was more sore in the back than excited. i'm going of the constant tail swishing and when you said, the higher the jumps the more he bucks. When he does buck, it looks like its at something more than just out there. i'm not say he was in pain but it does look like it in those clips of him.
