Dezzy March haha yep same happened to me. It was this and her dancing to "Call Me Baby" during an interview that hooked me. This is the type of group Twice was meant to be before they even formed. In Sixteen, JYP was looking for charisma even more so than skill in the prospective members, so that they could pull off any concept. I think he only got conservative with them later because they were getting so big and there was a chance to reach top-act popularity. They've always been sneaky sexy, though, slipping body rolls and hip swivels into supposedly cute choreo, and Once had been waiting all along for them to get back to edgier concepts. 2019 may finally be the year that Dark Twice from the live shows takes over.

Tbh i feel like the members are incredibly talented but they dont shine to their full potential in twice. If you watch sixteen (the survival show where twice was formed) chaeyoung was one of the most feared participants bc not only can she spit fire but also has strong vocals. Or momo.. In sixteen her voice is incredible but once she joined twice shes been forced to use a high pitched cute voice that does not suit her naturally deeper vocals. I highly recommend you watch sixteen or at least a good guide to twice, youll be surprised by their talent!

the way Twice was created they can fairly be called the best of the best of the best, at everything. They have been operating under the simple concept, be happy, but,if you watch their concerts and special performances you will find thet they can do any concept just as well. Add to that they do a lot of covers of other groups doing those concepts as well. And at least one sub unit called satisfaction is pretty damn sexy. And you still haven't explored T-ARA. I believe girl crush is like when something is cool and bold and sometimes sexy usually for the sake of female empowerment rather than for the male gaze (or at the very least for both). Like when they're so poppin' that the girls want to be them and get a girl crush on them. So there are badass concepts and sexy concepts that aren't necessarily girl crush and there was some concepts that might seem a bit cute that are still considered girl crush (like this one lol)
