The UFL strategy is on point. Developers need to make money off their game. You need to build RP to purchase expensive players, it's not like you can easily buy a full 11 of 88 rated players. You still need to grind. I have a pretty good record and I have not spent a dime. You guys take things too seriously, its free to play. You spend money to buy FC and more on UT, yet you still complain, play the game and voluntarily give them your money. UFL is "Free to play", you dont have to spend a dime. The earlier it sinks in the better. Do you know how long it took EA to be where they are today. It didn't just happen overnight, but everyone expects UFL to miraculously have FC dynamics on launch when its Free to play. You guys deserve to be ripped off by EA Gameplay just neeyd a bit tweaking

Same here My record is 55-20-18, only early access and im enjoying game and try to not promete to platinum :) Game needs a lot of work, there are a lot of glitch abusers in higher divisions but in Gold you can play football acctually. Game is for free, grinding gives a lot of satisfaction and I hope it will be only better with time:)

Nah I'm sorry but this "game is too slow argument" sounds like nostalgia froma time when you could just do 1-2's and pace abuse with Gervinho, Weligton and Emenike. UFL has a lot of problems, especially lack of animations, air and ground challenges, unrealistic shooting angles and lob passes but speed isn't one.

I think the thing I hate the most about UFL is the dribbling, my characters feel so damn clunky, there’s like no soft dribbling, like technical (I hate technical, but I like to use it to get around right spaces), because “walking/running” is the worst. I think the currency system is good in UFL. You don’t have to buy a team full of 81 rated players. People have built up their starting players to above 80 rated. You can buy 70-75 rated players and build them up. Then later you upgrade a few that are above 80 and are easier to get up to 90. I'm free to play and whole starting 11 is 86 and above. Also 3 players on the bench are 84 and above. The only problem I have is that you get pretty much nothing back for selling your players. If you buy a player for 80 million CP you should atleast get half of that back if you sell them. Players that you've built up from scratch should be worth something on the market aswell.

You have to keep in mind that the plan isnt for a new UFL to come out each year. The plan isnt for it to be here to stay, so the fact that it takes long to buy a team of good players is a good thing. The game still needs work in terms of gameplay for sure but its a good start. Fifa/FC has been out for decades and they still have a ton of issues and still manages to infuriate people. I think UFL’s off to a very decent start and will get better with the patch coming this month, as well as future updates. This is the first time ive ever deleted a fifa/fc, its just become unbearable and should be a lot further ahead of UFL given their budget and supposed experience in the field. If people want Fc to really improve, havong competitors is good, but they need to be supported too in order to put up more of a fight against EA.

100%. Most people won't admit it just because of how much hate eafc gets, and the fact that people are tired of EA's BS. But really, it's WAAAY more polished than ufl. And any update ufl do, eafc will be one step ahead doing updates each year aswell. Understand the devs have been working on the project for years, but it's almost like they saw EA were at their lowest in terms of community feedback, and tried to capitalise on an angry fan base that were crying out for an alternative (because Efootball just isn't that alternative anymore) They really shouldve kept up with developing for another year or two to really make the gameplay feel smoother.... because right now if you jump into it, it's comparable with the gameplay from fifa 16. Now, some people may like that arcade style of football but if you go back and play fifa 16 or some of those older fifas now (at least for me), ypu actually appreciate how much smoother the gameplay Is now compared to the older titles. Just my opinion, but they really shouldve held off a release until it was 100% playtested and approved by a proper community of players that could of said to the devs, NOW its ready to compete against FC.

I have played about 150 games and got a 14-5 in showdown. Haven’t played EA FC since FIFA 23. For me UFL is just as bad, tbh I even had less fun compared to my last Fifa. UFL feels RIDICULOUSLY clunky. The amount of goals I scored and conceded due to wrong player switches or weird bounce backs is just laughable. Progression takes way too long. I don’t want to play 20 games to be able to afford a 74 rated player. The game is incredibly pay to win. Many quality of life features are missing like player names above their heads, xG stats. The meta is disgusting with all the long through balls, parking the bus and curl shots, aerials, corners. There aren’t enough game modes, but tbh even Ea makes that mistake. Imagine a duo division rivals and weekend league game mode. You and your friend could build a team consisting of all the players you two have got and you’d play against other pairs of two. That game mode would go crazy because everything is more fun with friends. And the game looks like a mobile game. I don’t think a single player in my team even resembles the real life player, maybe Jonathan David. They basically released the game unfinished. They should have released another beta, maybe even a couple of months long. In that beta you give everybody the best players and that way you test out your meta and tweak it till you find something satisfying. Hate to be this negative, but my prediction is the game is going to die pretty quickly and I feel like it was all a quick cash grab. I am not faced by these twitter communication merchants as long as they don’t change stuff

The gameplay is NOT too slow. What may be too slow are the player animations before they actually shoot or pass, but when thery run, are they too slow? Absolutely not. Are the passes too slow? I would say they are too fast, actually. The shots? Seem ok to me. We are used to fast power bullets/ top corner in FC but that is not realistic at all. The slow pace of the game is exactly why this game is already better than EF or FC. In the 2 other games, the rythm is frantic, the non stop pressing and number of interceptions per minute are horrible. UFL is the only one to propose this "laid back" feeling when buildind an action in midfield, like you would see in a real football game in the stadium or on your TV. Maybe we are too addicted to action and drama with 11 goals per game, thanks to FC. But I am sick of this and I want a chill / realistic game. When I see my 10 past results in UFL, it looks like something normal, 3 goals per game on average. Not crazy 6-5 with remontada every half time.

Eugene or whatever the name of CEO of Strikerz Inc is, said that they are planning on adding handicap to the game and he already discussed that with the team. The game is dead in the water. Finding opponents takes up to 15 minutes in higher divisions (Premier and Ruby) and people drop to lower divisions on purpose. Listening to community is something most CEOs learnt is one way ticket to Hell. People will always want different things and communities are not at all united. Banning crosses and corners is stupid as those are real tactics in REAL LIFE that work for teams. EA FC ruined corners completely and you can't score them anymore. Yes, Van Dijk spam was infuriating, but I would rather deal with that, than not have an option at all. KONAMI also listened to PES community feedback back in the days and boy, it was horrible. Gameplay changed from patch to patch basis and some patches made the game way worse than before. Be careful what you people wish for.

I don't think that the gameplay of UFL and FC25 are too slow. The gameplay was way to hectic and fostered ADHD kids, just look at Call of Duty - there is so much going on you barely can see anything as a newbie. In Fifa, now you have people spinning like beyblades and tryharding every game. Also, I recently stopped FC25 for the second time and deleted the game, so I won't hop on there for a few casual games, luring me in to the grind again. Grinding for packs feels just unrewarding and I'm fed up with live service games. There are still live service games that respect your time, like Helldivers 2, and I've heard good things from Warframe. But for UFL: It's on a good way, but there are way to many Fifa Rats complaining on Reddit - I hope, the devs will not listen to them or we will have another EA FC.

Why everybody complaining about to make 400 games to get Bellingham... in EAFC if you want a 10 MIL icon getting 500 coins a game, you have to play 20 000 games! INSANE! The only problem with UFL is legit the AI for defenders which is insanely good and its really hard to get past, besides that the thing that pisses me off so much and makes me rage more then FC ever did, is the extra time going for another 5 mins then it actually is meant to. yesterday the extra time was 90+2, i equalised from losing on 92:19 mins, it counted because i was on the attack in the 91 min so thats fine, but after that you would think that was the end of the game right? no, the game continued on to 90+5 mins and i conceded a goal

I just don't get modern game developers and their obsessions in making a game SUPER realistic. First they should definitely adjust the grind for credits/rep. It is a little tooo grindy. But one change I would love to see is offer 2 versions of players to buy. One can be offered for just credits so anyone who wants can just drop the cash and buy the player. However, lock this version of players to not receive exp. They are only base cards and can't be upgraded at all. That way, whales can get the guys they want immediately, but won't be rewarded long term for putting in the time. So, the other version of player that needs the REP is the full version that can be upgraded and get skills etc... maybe even start them with higher beginning rating/stats as even more incentive.

People are annoying... Fifa was criticised for the exaggerated speed of the gameplay and the unfair pay to win on the ultimate team. UFL made the gameplay slower to try to represent the reality. People just got used to the unrealistic pace of FIFA games last years. Other thing... most of gamers are just using low skilled players in n the beginning of the game. Other thing is the complaining for the slow progress in the game. Come on... in my opinion, that makes you appreciate much more each progress you make in your team. And just remember... this game is free, and trying make it fair for all. I think we should give a chance to the developers to keep improving the game until nail it. Just sharing my honest opinion so, please, don't throw hate on me 😅😅😅

You can't blame devs for players using exploits. Its a new game, so it will take time for the team to fix/tone them down. It's mostly the players' fault. We could choose to use all the exploits available, but I would choose not to use them. I'm trying to play real football and not spam play. Others want to win at all costs and watch endless replays. It's a "hate the player, not the game" type scenario 🤷‍♂️ imo.

What about isn't fair to play? I can still compete in my division and my team doesn't even reach the "base rp" limit. In UFL, there is no need to get to the highest division, you'll get better players either way. Plus, your lower players level up, so there won't be such a big gap to players you would buy for your division. People are expecting to get MBappé by the end of the month - that's EA's fault with their gambling mechanics raising addicts.

I’m gonna go along for the ride with UFL right now, I think it’s a pretty rough start but with the developers listening to the community so closely hopefully it can become a great game to potentially rival EA

I think you just need to give them time to develop. I mean we are talking about competing against EA, a multi billion dollar company with over 30 years of experience. The game is free to play and has some mechanics which are far better than what EA has to offer in their simulation. That alone is a huge plus for me. I don't get why people are so unpatient with that. At the end of the day we all want to get rid of EA and their pay to win dominating game but at the same time we all want that new game to be similar to what we are used to, and we are all used to EA and their mechanics so what is the point of roasting that new simulation? Give them time to develop and stop crying about every little bit not being to your likes. If UFL gets the support of many people they eventually will get the financial resources to make their simulation better. Besides, if EA contiues to produce shit like FC 25, people will not play the game for sure, we just need to understand that this is a start that has a potential of being something that can defeat EA's rant of terror.

Lvl up lower players goes faster than get belingham .. i jave a full squad whit 90 ratet players all lvl up from 75 to 90 in about 250 matches .. and i give a fck on high ratet players .. watch mambibi 67 ratet with 90 speed and acceleration.. i lvl him up to 85 and he is a beast ..

I thought fc 25 was the worst football game until I played UFL. It's so bad. I tried to gaslight myself into liking it because I despise EA but now fc 25 feels like a masterpiece. Ufl feels like a 10 year old game and not in a good way. The amount of time to get an ok team is ridiculous when someone can spend money. The core game is awful. At least with fc you could start the game today and have a competitive team in less than a week without spending money.

Amen to that, people forget that playing with shite players gets boring really quickly. Atleast you can easily switch up your team with meta or fun cards in eafc, whatever you like. Ufl is just playing 700 games with your starter squad and then doing the same thing with a little better squad to then upgrade again.

I have stopped playing fc25 for a week and have been playing UFL, and I'm enjoying it. UFL is not perfect, but I firmly believe that it will become a good one. Fifa has just become a huge disappointment it's too slow and so inconsistent. The defending part is just worse. I don't want my AI defence to save my ass if I make mistak, I don't like playing the same formation with same tactics over and over and always scoring the same way it's just takes the skill out of you and force you to play the way ea wants you play.

Eyo, you don't have to buy top tier players to progress the game. Get some cheap beasts and level them up - my team hasn't even reached the base rp limit, so losing enhanced rp isn't an issue. Also, once I play more I will gain more enhanced rp, giving me more space for better players. This is not EA FC. Don't treat it as such.
