I can see the things that other people comment on, which happens to be the things I like about it. I am a history nerd and I have a thing for the Viking era, so I know my myth, legend and sagas, which makes this song magical for me. Like, I have a book I adore which tells a story relatively similar to the songs story, and I can see the story of the song being a fairytale in my book's lore. But, for someone who's not as into the historical stuff as me thinking of it weird or boring.

The pictures are of typical Norwegian landscape ... It gives me a Norwegian vibe! I love it :) And since there's no LED-screens on the MGP-stage, the overlay pictures/videos was the only option :) Combined with the lasers was genius!

My favorite part (among other favorite parts...) is the spinning guitar. Not only is it a nice trick for the climax that is approaching, but it is also a great example of showing how on point (on cue) the group members are, since the camera shot is very well timed to the spin. Gives me an overall vibe of professionalism. I had the same impression with Nebulossa's dancers and their poses near the end of the performance.

The pictures help to set the stage for the action, the Norwegian wilderness - although not everything is wilderness here, with a bathing jetty in one picture. They could avoid that, but maybe they want to show the connection to our time?
