The Histories of Failure series demonstrates how much research he is capable of. This is how he works. I guarantee you he read about all the dramatics in World Cup football for the at least 8 Cups prior.

The irony of Tree shitting on Argentina so badly is they went on to win the World Cup in 2022
@SuperJNG185 ай бұрын
Especially saying that it might be Messi's last World Cup. Guess who was lifting that trophy in 2022?

I actually looked up that thing with Japan advancing thanks to having fewer yellows, it was true. What happened was they tied Senegal both when they played each other and in the standings. They had the same record and the same number of goals both scored and conceded, and the same number of points. The fewer yellows thing was the sixth line of tiebreakers called "The Fair Play Rule" where the team with the fewest yellows and reds advance. Senegal had six yellows while Japan only had four. It sounds dumb on paper, but sometimes, you need dumb things to get the job done.

Quitar bribed their way into the World Cup. Why else would you play soccer in the middle of a Desert in 100 degree heat? And play in December? I wonder how much FIFA took to give them the World Cup?
@romiarkan4503 жыл бұрын
You have to admit Tree's remark on Argentina wasting Messi is correct. The man has been trying to maintain a high level of play for a long time and they couldn't even win a Copa America despite getting really close on several occasions.

Now they’re back in the Final in 2022, can they make this chance count or will they blow it again?
@someperson38836 ай бұрын
They did until 2021. Considering it was made in 2018 it was correct

You should watch Congrats USMNT! It's the video that Tree made after the US was eliminated by Trinidad and Tobago before qualifying.

That England match is what gave Big Yerald his Everton move haha. Also, it was a humiliating loss to Trinidad and Tobago that eliminated the US from qualifying. I know there was an SB Nation video on it as well.

Panama never beat us actually. We tied there and won 4-0 at home. But we lost both games against costa rica. Only tied mexico and lost to them. Then lost to Trinidad. In fairness, we had a missing generation.

I’ve been watching Pulisic and the boys grow for years now and it’s great to prove the doubters wrong when we said we had a future. Trust, we have a lot more youth coming through

We got Reyna at Dortmund too, who has a good chance of being the best out of all of them. We might be decent but I feel like we will suffer from not having a good striker and having a manager from MLS...
@Warum.24394 жыл бұрын
We have Sargent and others emerging. Don’t worry, people didn’t see it coming but the hardcore fans saw Pulisic, McKennie, etc years ago and knew they would be where they are now. More will come
@Brashnir4 жыл бұрын
More concerned that this group is just a bit too young overall to make a big impact in 2022, but in 2026 this generation will be in their primes, and the US could make a deep run. Also helps that it will be on home soil. The US kind of skipped a generation of top players for whatever reason, but this new young crop is making up for the gap and then some.

as both a colombian and an arsenal supporter, the hatred I felt for Kane after scoring against us could not be described! plus everyone on the internet saying we were playing dirty, ugh like what?? what do you expect then? no but in the end we were worse at penalties (our star players tend to choke at those situations) also... bruv, you're telling us you're 19-20 at best??? I'm shocked :O hahaha
