Who's that guy? He is Shin Oumura, best known as Machiya. He is a tremendously skilled guitarist and a superb lead and background vocalist, and is a member of the Wagakki Band. 👍 BTW... Crying while listening to the Wagakki Band?? That's perfectly normal! I think Hangeki No Yaiba or Sabaku No Komori Uta are some of the best choices to try next!!

Great to see you reacting to Wagakki Band, thank you! They were my first Japanese band I really got into. 8 musicians and each one is absolutely great on his/her instrument. The guy with the guitar and the mike is Machiya. Beside being a fantastic guitar player, he has a fantastic and very emotional voice. But except for this song, I never saw him growl. He just does it and owns it. Now that you saw them, please don't stop reacting to them. First, you definitely have to react to Homura+Akatsuki no ito (One video with two songs), which is the most melodic thing my ears have ever been blessed with. And then I have to suggest "Kyoshu no sora" (Acoustic version) and Tsuioku (Live acoustic). Both songs are sung by Machiya and there is so much emotion in them. And Yoshiware lament is also an amazing beautiful song that needs many more reactions. I just can't stop raving, they are so good!

What an amazing reaction to an epic performance. I see you already got all the info on WagakkiBand from Ken's comment - I'll just say that there's also an original WagakkiBand song ft. Amy Lee called Sakura Rising. There's only a lyrics video but it's very beautifully done. Definitely worth checking it out. love your energy ❤️🤘

wagakki means japanese traditional instrument band which has 9 members. i recommend you sabaku no komori uta.

Izana, Hanabi, Tengaku (live version 2017 Dai Shinnekai), Sabaku No Komoriuta, Cradle Of Eternity (a separate single done by Yuko Suzuhana), Queen Of The Night, Senbonzakura, Yoshiwara Lament (any live versions), Iroha Uta and too many more to list. Yoiu should check out their Homura live performance. They combine traditional Japanese instruments and musical elements with modern Rock/Metal. All of them are excellent in their respective instruments and the band itself is a rather miraculous gathering of artists who normally wouldn’t overlap musically.

I love your pure reaction to this amazing and my favorite band! Their music bandwidth is so wide across traditional folklore, metal, punk, swing jazz and Western-Japanese fusion. So there are many “bests” actually. Like other guys are recommending I would recommend “Homura(group of flames)” and “Akatsuki no Ito(String of dawn)” as two consecutive musics. I am a HUGE Wagakki Band fan! LOVE them! But I can actually do without Amy Lee up there. I am not an Evanescence fan. Yuko Suzuhana does NOT need any help with the vocals! She is a goddess! Everyone seems to love Beni Ninagawa on the shamisen! This band blends traditional Japanese instruments and music with modern music. They have been around awhile, and they are AMAZING. Do more Wagakki Band songs! PLENTY more to do! Keep you busy for awhile!
