You’re the best! The brutality/beauty juxtaposition is also my favorite. No one does it better than Amity Affliction since 2012. The Gifthorse is a gorgeous paean to a Good friends suicide. All the lyrics on all the songs relate to Joel Birch’s clinical depression and how he overcomes everyday with love and understanding.
