If you like her stage presence and that tribal sound you should listen to Rechenka (The River) which she sang at 14. It is based on Russian folktales about a young betrothed orphan girl who goes to the river, the boundary between the living and the dead, to ask her deceased mother's blessing for her marriage. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nHbGp4l_g6ZmZpY Ironically, Diana herself was an orphan who was abused and abandoned by her alcoholic mother at age 3. Русские оконные наличники; собор Василия Блаженного; одна из башен московского Кремля; Александровская колонна на Дворцовой площади; шпиль Адмиралтейства; и в довершение всего - русская матрёшка для тех зрителей, кому и это всё покажется не вполне знакомым. Надо отдать должное этим ливанцам - поскольку, очевидно, их посмотрят не только в России, но и в других странах. Что из себя представляют эти изображения? Это символы России, - или, выражаясь современным жаргоном, брэнды, - в большей или меньшей степени известные во всём мире. Thank you for your reaction to Diana Ankudinova. Diana is constantly exploring different potentialities of her voice. Her newest tour-de-force was her participation in tv show "Mask" in February - April, 2023 (Russian version of "The Masked Singer") where she surprised everybody with five songs interpreted with different voices which had absolutely nothing in common with her own voice. And after that she has sung four songs with her own voice, displaying however her newly acquired possibilities in high vocal register. One song had an especially powerful emotional impact, comparable to her cover of Can't Help Falling In Love. The title is "I'll Win You Back" (sung in Russian). Here is this song, filmed by a fan, Mike Zotov, at Diana's Moscow recital on June 29th, 2023. The English subtitles are provided. This competition is unique in the world, an international TV- competition, especially for adopted and orphaned children. In 2018 and 2019 Diana entered this unique competition and won twice. The winner of the season will be determined by a 6-day public vote and the final took place in the Kremlin Palace and her videos were uploaded to KZbin and soon she had millions of fans. She called us Friends. The project producers help the finalists start their studies and encourage their creativity. Diana won a scholarship. Igor Krutoy, here in "You are Super" as a juror, gave Diana a small apartment (37m²/ 398 ft²) in Moscow with the words: Live and sing! There, in the small flat she lives with her mother and grandmother and was able to begin her vocal training with the best teachers such as Professor Olga Donskoy. (She died of Covid-19 in Oct. 2020). Now she is taught by the great Alexandra Pismennaya, who was a student of Prof. Donskoy. *Igor Krutoy, *1954 in Ukraine SSR. He lives and works in Moscow/Russia. He is singer, a world- famous composer and music titan in Russia (billionaire). He is also a sponsor and a juror in this competition. His family is in the US now. Krutoy came out of retirement to write songs for Dimash Qudaibergen. The maestro and Dimash have been working together from time to time since 2018. Krutoy is also still in touch with Diana and he introduced her to Brandon Stone.
