The COVID was mismanaged by BJP, for sure and people lost their life due to multiple flaws like hospital booking via CMO which was not too quick and people had to beg for beds in hospitals,etc. I have seen it and experienced it myself. How much more do you expect Covid to be managed in an overcrowded country? The first wave was health prioritized, while the second wave was economy prioritized, as ignoring economy (i.e., employment, industries, defence procurements, etc.) could lead to equal number of deaths in long run. Sure a little more polishing could've helped, but that's because we have the hindsight, which is very easy to have.

I'm surprised how much lack of insight there is. In Lakhimpur Kheri all 8 seats were won by BJP in 2017 too Deoband assembly seat has 30% Muslims, and 70% Hindus. And for obvious reasons, in this particular constituency, Hindus are greatly united. And Deoband was won by BJP in 2017 too. So what's so surprising this time?
