I'm surprised how much lack of insight there is. In Lakhimpur Kheri all 8 seats were won by BJP in 2017 too Deoband assembly seat has 30% Muslims, and 70% Hindus. And for obvious reasons, in this particular constituency, Hindus are greatly united. And Deoband was won by BJP in 2017 too. So what's so surprising this time?

I think Abhijit Iyer mitra is wrong. If that was the case I don't think Modi and Amit shah would have worked so hard. Some sucker journalists who's butt burns whenever they see BJP Modi Yogi must have planted these story or some corrupt BJP insiders who are unable to loot must have planted it. Similar thing happened before the election was announced. They had started saying that Yogi would be replaced and he would not be the CM face for the election. Even journalists who had a soft corner for BJP had started to believe it on KZbin. Unfortunately in India we want the law to be enforced on others but not us .
