I saw how Julius get emotional when Des is talking about how they are supporting Koa. As a mom of a speech delayed kid, let me tell you, I FEEL YOU! People’s assumptions about how you guys handle it when they haven’t been in that situation, it’s disgusting. You both are going through a lot trying to do the best for him, I’m pretty sure about it. Sending you love and support ❤

I love how raw you guys are such genuine people. My son had a speech delay as well he’s a covid baby and he’s turning 4 in November now that he’s started school his speech has improved tremendously. Be patient with him and help him with his speech by reading and fun learning activities at home. Tiktok was my best friend when learning how to help him. You guys are doing great 🤍

Hell yeah thy mat was my favorite part! Both of them are super strong because us supporters don’t have any privileges on knowing their person life. The fact that they touched on such a touchy subject I solute them and especially for being so mature about it! It’s obvious how much they love Koa.

My son is almost 5 years old, autistic, severely delayed with speech, has fragile x syndrome and is still a wonderful child. He may not be like every other child and may have challenges but doesn't make him any less special or any less important. He's in speech therapy, food therapy, aba therapy, occupational therapy. Don't ever let anyone tell you that you are not a great parent. Those who know, know. If they walked a day in our shoes they would shut the f up. Love you guys. You're doing great 👍

That’s why assumptions are made. People who know little to nothing about your personal life assume based off the glimpse you give them. What you mean to say is why do people assume the worst rather instead of why are they assuming at all. I have been following them for a hot minute and I ASSUME they are good people and great parents, it’s an assumption because I don’t know them like that

I think you both are great as parents and there is no judgement on how you raise your son. You do what is right for you and your family, no one has that right to say you are parenting wrong everyone has their own way and it doesn't mean that you are wrong. My grandma still tells my cousin and my aunts how to raise their children and she already had her chance doing so when she raised her kids. That's why I would never tell someone they are bad parents. Much love and respect to you and your family. God bless you😊💜

Hey juju & des! I love you guys I’ve been watching yall since b4 koa was born! I just wanted to drop a comment and say that talking to him in a baby voice might not be THE reason he has speech delay but it’s definitely a factor. baby talking Your kids is proven to cause abnormal speech or speech delay. Also screen time is detrimental to kids development also not saying that this is the reason he has a speech delay but is definitely a factor. Screen time causes speech delays and in learning. Zero hours of screen time is recommended until the ages of five and up. I love you guys regardless, but just correcting you.

As parents, whenever our kids fall short we tend to blame ourselves for it bc they are a reflection of us. So I know you two must be privately going through it but ISAIAH 40:31 says those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Praying for baby Koa to be covered in His spirit and be protected by God’s armor AMEN

When you speak to Koa To speak short and clear And consistent with the same words x Short and clear so he takes it in x Same voice tone every time x Don’t pro long the words ! Short n sharp 👌 as then Koa will eventually take it in x Both a team ❤️‍🔥

I hate the questions about Koa, that’s nobodies business, for them to even ask y’all that is gross. A speech delay doesn’t mean you watch tv all day long, doesn’t mean the kid isn’t paid attention to, it’s just how the child processes things & using their voice. Y’all are doing everything in y’all’s power to help him & that’s all that matters! 🫶🏻

Kids should not be corrected, they should be redirected! No, don't touch that... verses, If you touch that it can fall, break, and you can get hurt. •Don't sit there •if you sit there you can fall and get hurt. Sit on your chair so you don't fall. You guys are doing a great job!!! Teaching and spending a lot of with the kids is the key. My granddaughter is 14 months and has learned so much from Ms. Rachel. I limit the time with the ipad, but sometimes she get up and plays with other toys. I wouldn't take it away from her. Computers are in the schools and they need to learn how to use them. Abusing it all day and no other activities beside the ipad is the problem. When a child is not given other choices!

I know I've spoken on this before. But my son has a speech delay and in speech therapy, he has an IEP, failed his vision test and had to have behavioral screening done and all I know/was told is that he failed and is testing at a 2-3 year old age range at 4 years old! All I could think at first was my poor baby! What else could happen? but once we started taking the steps that HE needed to flourish BABY he talks (in his jargon 😂) to me but he won't answer a direct question, he's stubborn but thrives off his routine! he loves tv and playing with friends but enjoys independent play more. He hyperfocuses on the weather, dinosaurs and cars. I say alllllll of this to say: don't listen to everyone else. listen to your baby and you parental instincts. YOU know your child more than anyone. Just know the true supporters love him and want the best for him!! (and y'all 🤪❤)

My assumptions were : 1) Julius misses he's friends , he wants to live in a different state probably, he's bored , misses the fun part , prob wants his own channel outside of the family typa channel 2) destiny is a cry baby 24/7 and needs emotional support about everything more then the average girl Some things obviously deserves tears. Most things don't . I think destiny cares too much what strangers think. 3) i think you guys are worried about koas development , worried somthing might be seriously wrong . But I think ur using all the resources u can ur doing ur best and that's all u can do . Thank god you r financially stable enough to afford help 4) I think koa is a loved baby . He shows affection because he is shown affection
