I enjoyed that whole thing SO much! Your opinions are exactly the same as mine and I love how articulate you are in voicing them. The HEA being essential to a romance should be written in stone I think, but for anything else it’s up to the author. I personally am sick to death of wading through pages and pages of bodily fluids because the author is too lazy to apply themselves to making the plot good enough to keep me interested, spice can be very nice if it’s not overdone in EVERY. SINGLE. CHAPTER. Enemies to lovers (done right) is my fave plot. Really, really, really enjoyed this 💛

Shelby, I friggen adore you, I agree with most of your reviews and def check your page regularly for posts for new books to add to my TBR! Hot takes! “Powerless” was Hunger Games 2.0 and yes it’s boring af There is such a thing as too much spice If I hear one more person recommend “Pucking Around” like it’s some kind of literary masterpiece I’m gonna freak out Have a good day 😂

As an ARC reader and bookstagrammer since last summer, I've always written and provided an honest review of the book that I had applied to read for an ARC. Since day one, that has been my motto, and it will forever be it. Plus, I also believe that you should apply for ARCs for books that you actually like! I find it hard to actually believe that people would just apply for an e-arc for a book that they don't like. I personally think that it would be unfair on the author when it comes to reviewing their book. Also, Shelby, when will you be sharing your review of Carley Fortune's latest release, This Summer Will Be Different? I'm curious to see what you've thought about it. Apologies for my long reply Shelby! It's honestly like my TBR! 😅😂
