I just finished this book and I completely agree. First, what happened to Marisol and Keegan. We see them like twice and never again and also did Iris just forget about the bird book because in the story apparently Iris left the book at Romans house and he takes it then Dacre finds it and burns it sooooo WHY IS IT IN THE STORY??

So glad you’ve had a good reading week at last. I totally agree about the missing info in a thriller, if the author simply holds back something crucial right until the end it just makes me roll my eyes rather than gasp 🙄. I’m still in three star prison atm 🤷‍♀️

Just finished the book! I ADORE Claire and Gibs, they had so much potential! But Chloe (in my opinion) put no effort. The plot felt scattered and LIZZIE WAS SO INTOLERABLE

I loved Birthday Girl and Bully, but dnf’d Corrupt and Credence 🫣

I read 1 full Emily Henry book and it was Beach Read. I legit thought I must have had accidently gotten a different book, because what in the bland boring weird f- is that. I read free samples of her other books, and well I'm never touching a Emily Henry book ever in my life again never ever ever. Sorry I was just so pissed off at the LACK of BEACH in a book called BEACH READ. Just seeing her books everywhere makes me angry because I just don't get the hype ????

The book Normal People was so bad and boring, and I'm so happy I thrifted it for cheap because it put me in such a slump!

😂😂I love this so much. I read then she was gone and the family upstairs by Lisa jewell. Both an easy 4 stars both my faves for both April and may. Hooked by Emily mcintire 3.5 to 4 stars simply because it reminds me of Wattpad days, so I feel really comfy with it but also because I will reread this multiple times and not be tired of it. Although I heavily disliked the summer I turned pretty. Took me ages to get through and definitely don’t recommend

Oh dear 😶. I feel ya, I’m having a bad month too. I’ve read 14 books this month but most have only been 3 stars and two were 2 stars, and I’ve also dnf’d 4 books. I’m starting to dread picking up another book cus I’m getting more and more anxious about wasting my time on 💩 . It’s sucking all the enjoyment out of reading 😢

I haven’t read any of Carly Fortune’s books but I don’t think I will, based off so many bad reviews 😂 would love to watch another one in the future 💙

You’ve made the right decision with Normal People. It’s one of the worst books I’ve ever picked up. Absolutely nothing happens. Please do save yourself. There’s also absolutely nothing keeping them apart. They just f**k and then whine about not being with each other despite the fact neither of them opens their bloody mouth to say they want a relationship. Pure torture. Typing this is honestly making me as angry as I was when I first read it 😅

I just dnfed Flawless by Elsie Silver as it was just soooo cringey 🥴 it reminded me of Ana Huangs books lmao

Good thinking on sally Rooney.. normal people was awful, had to force myself to finish 😢😅... the show was actually better than the book imo 🤦‍♀️

I loved your video, girl! One I don't stand hearing about is Coleen Hoover. I read snippets of COHOs books and the plot doesn't work for me. I read Pucking Around and I was so ?????? And thinking *how this is possible* so many times! But I read out of curiosity, not worth the time for sure. Normal people I liked the description and feelings surrounding depression, because the rest of the characters are just no, don't do this. You got a new subscribed ❤

The Anna Huang books are straight trash, I totally agree! I will never read Zodiac Academy because I’ve heard reviews that sound just like what you’ve said and it gives me the ick. Also I attempted to read “Throttled” and thought my brain would melt from how dreadfully boring it was. DNF’d at 18%.

Can’t wait to hear what you think of Maxton Hall …. Paper Princess Series is the best guilty comfort read. I agree with every book you talked about …Twisted series whiplash plot!!! 😂And Twisted Games cringe ass writing …and all the others. Only exception is I love Sophie Lark books I literally binge read them in a day and I adore Lauren Asher books. Adding to the list of authors I won’t read , Tessa Bailey and Christina Lauren books. I cannot stand their writing styles I get bored and my mind drifts off.
