As the end slowed down I did somehow find it pretty hard- this is the first game I've ever really played and I change my tactics but generally stick to just proximity and arrows. I especially get quick on the buttons and fail to send anything flying despite having the shot set up! But I think I've clocked about 180 hours on horizon because I love it so much! Hence the amount of shards 😅 But thanks again! I'll try to stick to your advice in the midst of my panic! Loving the review series you got going!

👊fist bump from me! Anyone who has never played HZD on Ultra Hard and taken down machines like this only to have to do it over and over again understands fully what a master piece HZD truly is. Especially in the Frozen Wilds or the hunting grounds. Trying to get blazing suns on Ultra Hard is next level insane and the thing I am most worried about as I go for 100% HZD on Ultra Hard. I've beat the story on Ultra Hard many times but I have never actually 100% the full game yet on NG+ in Ultra Hard.

I am currently grinding to get 1million shards for fun on story before I go to a new Ultra Hard NG+ I plan to 100% that play through for fun. I think 1,000,000 shards should be FAR more then I would ever need but hey I am enjoying the grind even though it's pretty boring not needing to worry about dying. I am sure by the time I 300,000 shards I will be ready to switch back to Ultra Hard and still have 700,000 shards to go. I started 2 days ago with about 40,000 and I am at 150,000 now so I give it a week or two depending on the time I get to actually play.
