I think the reason is in the song itself, Lenne was never able to say what she's feeling. I think her spirit finally had the chance to say those 1000 words she never could before. And even after all these years this scene makes me bawl my eyes out 😂😭

Lenne and Shuyin lived 1000 years ago in zanarkand, who both died during the zanarkand/bevelle war. Due to yuna using lennes dress sphere, lennes consciousness was imprinted into the sphere and projected out during the song due to her intense emotions of wanting to say goodbye to shuyin

see i don't really nescessarily have any problems with the song itself, great visuall storytelling but why did they choose the most dangerous place on spira to hold a fricking concert each second the song plays a person dies XD while the calm lands are right there. also what rikku meant was that the songstress dressphere that yuna has, has the thoughts and feelings of lenne in it as well. so when yuna started singing lenne's mind took a little bit over and made everyone see her story as well

They just conect She was the most known Singer and summoner in zanarkand and Shuyen the star Blitzball player from In love (Karma as Yuna Lenne Reacarnation and Tidus Shuyen Dream fell in love) but their love was forbiden because She was a summoner só they still have gone agaist all to be together because of that they wore Killed, That way shuyien than got to know about vegna became and anger spirit amd forgot all ONLY Revenge lived on
