Thanks for doing Selena reactions. They're great. Two of my faves are Bidi Bidi Bom Bom and Si Una Vez (From her Astrodome concert) I definitely recommend those. Another good one is Que Creias.

You need to react to Selena en vivo la Carcacha. This is a fun song. Basically it’s about her boyfriend driving an old junkie car and her friends making fun of it and she’s telling them that he treats her good like a queen he’s not the most handsome man but he is good to her. Her dancing in this live performance is incredible. You won’t even believe it when you see it. This one that you just reacted to is a very sad song, but the one I’m suggesting is actually one of the most fun songs she has.

First and foremost, thank you so much for your service to our country. I have many family members who have served and continue to serve this great nation of ours. I believe Selena would’ve wanted to be remembered for her positive attitude, and her famous words to never give up on your dreams. To dream the impossible. I think it is imperative to stop thinking about her death and that horrible person because if we continue to talk about that person, Selena cannot rest. Her murderer needs to stay in prison for the rest of her life. With that said, I had the honor to see Selena perform live. The concert was bittersweet as it happened to be the day before her 23rd birthday, the last one she would celebrate. I was able to sing, happy birthday to her with the fans that actually took the time to buy her a cake. The concert was incredible and I am so happy that I was able to see her just once. I have the most beautiful photographs of her from that night and she looked incredibly stunning. She had the ability to connect with her fans on a level that I’ve never seen before. When I think back on that night, it brings me to tears, not because she is no longer with us, but because she was so happy. The night before her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was officially unveiled, I had the honor of meeting her husband, Chris Perez. I told him that we had flown all the way from Indiana for the occasion. He was truly humbled and touched by the fact that we loved her enough to be there. He was so kind, as he talked to us for quite a while and he didn’t have too. I suspect that he did what she would have done. We took pictures with him, which was his idea. The next evening when her star was revealed, you could see his pain. I’m sure he was thinking how excited she would’ve been to be present in that moment. That unveiling was the largest , as far as the number of people who attended the event. I’m so proud that they placed her star right in front of the Capitol Records building. Selena will always live through her music. And despite her death, she continues to influence new artists. Women who dress like her on Halloween in my opinion is amazing, yet a little cringe worthy, especially when the ones dressing up like her, are celebrities that do so because of her everlasting beauty and fame. I could be wrong, with regard to the celebrities, but I think a lot of them emulate her because it makes them look good. Lastly, i’ve been to the Selena Museum in Corpus Christi. Her father Abraham was there, but did not engage with any of the fans. If anyone ever has the opportunity to go there it’s definitely worth a trip. I did make a trip to her home on the one year anniversary of her death and I left flowers at her grave. There is only one Selena and I don’t know if we’ll ever see anyone like her again, but I truly hope so. Thank you so much for taking the time to react to her videos. It means a lot to me and I’m sure to other Mexican-Americans who are rarely seen, let alone heard.

El Chico del Apartamento 512 - Bidi Bidi Bom Bom - Techno Cumbia - Si Una Vez, watch all four of these from the 1995 Astrodome concert. Really shows her range, ability and skill, as well as more of her range in musical style. She really could do pretty much anything, and I think she was so successful because she brought modern American sounds from rap, rock, pop, country, disco and soul to more traditional Mexican/Texan music. listen to some of the sounds in the background and how it changes what you're hearing.

I agree with you on that giving her fame because she was a nobody until she was working for Selena and she would’ve gone back to being a nobody because Selena was firing her and giving her back the ring. So since she murdered Selena, her name is forever linked to Selena. When you think about Selena you think about the person that killed her and that is giving her attention that she does not deserve.

Yolanda stole her life and .. put her a coffin in the ground. Selena is nothing but bones now. never got to live a long a full life. wiped out from our world. Yolanda has no remorse. she deserves no freedom . I have compassion for Yolanda, believe it or not. she destroyed many , many, lives including her own. over a stupid senseless act ! & greed. It's just so tragic, Everything about it. clearly she's mentally ill and unfortunately Selena didn't see that . I try to keep my heart open as much as Selena's was. I love People. I try to look for the good in everyone. always have. it's just something in me since i was a child. Yolanda deserves nothing more than to live the rest of her life thinking about the horrible thing that she did to the world. That's punishment enough & may God have mercy on her .

It's bs cause she's been holding this truth from the beginning according to her. If you see her old interviews from when she got put in prison. She gets asked what is the truth her response always was I can't tell you it's not the moment and always went in circles. It's not the right time. Even gets asked why if her freedom depends on that truth why wouldn't she say it. Again she would say I can't tell you not yet. So she prefer to go to prison for 25 years n now decides to speak. Watch the interview from I believe 1997 where maria Celeste interviews her n gets ask over n over what's the truth and will not budge.
