IMO this is one of Marko's best. It hits hard and powerfully. I think many of us have been in the place that he is in this song, and felt the same emotions. Marko has given voice to the pain felt by so many people. I'm still digging around in the meaning, because there could be so many things that he is talking about. But, dang! When Marko talks he talks for so many of us.

Marko's vocals are always so powerful and well constructed. The music here reminded me of a 1980's Rock or Metal ballad from my youth. I enjoyed this for sure. I could see Rocky training to this song. Lol.

What a perfect song to find time to come back for!! Omgoodness!! Love it!! I haven't been on KZbin since August 30 until today. I lost everything in a house fire and have been struggling to get back on my feet. This is such a perfect comeback to KZbin for me! Love it ❤

Hi Tommy, yes, Marko describes the souls' torment incredibly powerfully. Most of us at some point in our lives have felt rudderless on a turbulent sea of dark emotions. The beacon of hope too far to see clearly. Markos' voice is a balm regardless of how tempestuous he sounds. His songs carry deep meaning..The band are superb too.. To anyone going through a tough time. ' The mind is a battlefield Be it's commander..not it's soldier' Take care all.

Thank you! Impatient Zero is such a good song! It has very deep lyrics and I really like them too. I have loved all 3 singles (this one, Frankenstein's Wife and Left on Mars) that have come out already for his new solo album. So it sounds like the album is gonna be amazing! Already his first solo album was great.

Hey Tommy, glad to see you and thank you for this reaction. Since I stepped away from YT, I've been doing advocacy work for patients with PTSD and behavioral issues as a result of working for military contractors. These folks have no VA structure or services and often just cannot navigate basic medical services... esp psychiatric ones. Marko strikes right at the heart with the line truths spoken to a stone ear. May we all find just alittle more compassion to share!

Betrayal. "My back's been holed with wounds": Stabbed in the back, he feels betrayed. Ouch.

I like this song and video a lot more than _Frankenstein's_ _Wife_ (and I will get the album when it comes out for sure). I don't know if you've seen, but Marko guests on the latest single from Patty Gurdy, where he once again shows how his voice can blend with any other singer on the planet!
