Oh boy, you are going to be bombarded by her fans called Angels that will fill you in on this music prodigy with an old soul from Norway. She's basically been a star since she was 7 years old. First and foremost, she is a jazz singer but has the ability to sing any genre. She also does all of her own musical arrangements. Her early influences are Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington, and Etta James to name a few. Her love of jazz came from her grandmother playing jazz music around her when she was young. She entered and won Norway's Got Talent at the age of 8. With her new found fame, she used it to appear on many shows from abroad and help raise millions for the less fortunate children around the world. At age 13, she was invited to participate on America's Got Talent: The Champions in 2020. She shocked the audience and the judges with her rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. She received a standing ovation from all and got the Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum to go straight to the Finals. Her performance went viral and even the group Queen responded on Twitter by saying, " Wow, what a rendition!" Not only that, but she received the copyrights for her version of this song from Queen, which makes it hers now. She did not win, but her fan base grew and expanded her popularity. Now 17 years old, living in Los Angeles, and is signed with Republic Records, whose clients include Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd, and Drake to name a few. Her family and Republic Records have agreed not to heavily promote her just yet so she can live as normal of a life as possible and finish her schooling. She is working on a new album of original music which will be coming out this year. She recently returned back to Norway and performed at a number of sold out concerts in which fans from around the world came to see her. Many of the fans there said she sounded better live in person and was a once in a lifetime experience. Her fans call her The Barefoot Princess. She always performs with no shoes when she sings. Why? The reason is very special. When she was 6 years old, she was traveling with her family in Iran where she met a shoeless homeless girl in the streets that was about her age. She made money by weighing people. After speaking with her for a few minutes, Angelina noticed the scars on the girl's feet and asked the girl what her dream is. The girl said she wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she had to make money for her family. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. Since then, Angelina has performed barefoot in honor of that little girl and to those who are less fortunate around the world. She keeps this promise to this day. One of the reasons why we love her so much!

Why does Angelina sing barefooted? Angelina Jordan is known as "The Barefoot Princess" or "The Barefoot Princess of Jazz," amongst many other names. She always performs barefooted, whether in front of a live audience or during a studio performance. The story is that while living in the Middle East, at 6 years old, Angelina came across an orphaned girl, of her own age, sitting in the street, weighing people on a bathroom scale to earn money. Angelina said to herself, "I would like to share her life for one second to know what it is like to sit alone, wet, and damp, and barefoot in a corner of the street." Angelina could see the girl's bare feet were scarred and that it was cold outside, so she offered her own shoes to the girl. Little Angelina says that she really loved her shoes, as they were very nice and she knew she would miss them. But she saw the other little girl’s need for them, which outweighed her own desire to keep them. So she insisted the little girl take them. Angelina called her Princess, even though the girl said she didn't live in a castle, but the ruins of a building next to where she sat. After sharing their hopes and dreams, the little girl said of Angelina's wish to sing for the world, "You will become the one you dream of and when your dreams come true, you have to remember the poor children without shoes; and I will pray for you Angelina.” Later that day, 6 y/o Angelina wrote in her diary, "The world is very strange. Right then and there, I felt as if a door in my heart opened up, and it was filled with lots of lights. It was as if there was, from Earth to Heaven, a staircase. I climbed the stairs. To be able to do something for another human - it was such a big thing…hard to describe really.” From that point on, Angelina takes off her shoes, in honor of ‘Princess’ and all the other less fortunate children of the world, who are orphaned, hungry, or in want of even basic clothing. In 2015, at the age of 9, Angelina wrote a book about the encounter, as everyone continued to ask why she sang barefoot. Her grandmother, Mery Zamani, created the artwork for the book. So at 9, Angelina Jordan became the youngest published author in Norway. Angelina has performed alongside many other artists, raising attention and helping to raise over 21 million euros and millions of dollars for children in need.

Tranquilo que Angelina es la joya universal de la música, esta protegida por mas de 40 premios Grammy de la música (David Foster, Quincy Jones, etc) Angelina es el prodigio ya que toca 4 instrumentos (piano, flauta, violín, guitarra) habla 5 idiomas (Ingles, Noruego, Suizo, Irani y Japones) es escritora de libros, diseñadora de ropa, pintora de cuadros, cantante, arreglista musical y autora de canciones. Es una persona humilde y de buen corazón. Not only did she get the golden buzzer from Heidi Klum also huge praise from the remaining members of the legendary Queen. bonne petite réaction, première fois ici, un petit pouce!! Je la suis depuis une paire d'années, je pense que tu vas te régaler si le jazz/blue/R&B (mais pas que) font partis de tes styles préférés. Elle a un goût certain pour ce type de musique, Billie Holliday est son idôle notamment mais pas que. Plus de 150 reprises plus ou moins longues dans différentes circonstances (de chez elle avec une piste karaoke jusqu'à une avant première de Norah Jones en Corée du Sud à 11 ans devant 40000 personnes en passant par des émissions de télé de par le Monde etc) et ainsi que quelques originaux écrits par elle dés 11 ans ainsi que quelles morceaux écrits pour elle. De par sa vie et sa famille, elle parle plus ou moins couramment le suédois, l'anglais, le farsi, le japonais en plus du norvégien. Elle s'accompagne de temps à autre au piano ou à la guitare. Jamais vu mais elle a tâté le violon et la flûte. Ses fans (les anges), lui ont trouvé plusieurs surnoms à cause de certaines choses ou certaines évidences aprés avoir écouter plusieurs de ces reprises. The barefoot princess (la princesse aux pieds nus), the 1000 voices singer notamment, tu découvriras ça dans les commentaires à l'avenir si tu fais d'autres vidéos, les fans ne manqueront pas de commenter tes vidéos et certains te gratifieront de pavés d'infos encore plus grand que celui que tu es en train de lire. Bonsoir Seb. J'ai vu déjà pas mal de vidéos de Angélina Jordan, elle est extraordinaire, déjà toute petite elle était incroyable, une superbe voix. Petite "excentricité" de sa part, elle chante apparemment toujours pieds nus 😁. Et je suis d'accord avec vous, il y a comme une petite réincarnation de Emy Winehouse (que j'appréciais beaucoup) dans cette jeune fille, aussi bien dans le timbre de sa voix que la manière dont parfois elle se coiffe. Au delà de ses talents pour tout ce qui a attrait à l'art en général et à la musique en partciluier, elle semble avoir un intellect au sens large trés particulier. Empatie, intelligence, humilité, gentillesse, curieuse, ça transparait même en la voyant quand on commence à voir un grand nombre de vidéos de tout âge et dans n'importe quel cadre.
