It's called Vancouver Island and where I live and make violins, I am able to see one leg of Strathcona Glacier. Lots of Bald Eagles, salmon, and seals. Sounds terrible doesn't it?! 😎

Angelina's talent is astounding! I have commented here in the past about the myriad specific qualities she has as a singer and they all apply to this performance. However, one thing jumped out at me on this one - when she sang the word "road" at the very end, there was no embellishment, no vibrato - just the purest of the pure voice of an angel. Her pianist deserves great credit for providing the perfect accompaniment to allow Angelina to shine.

Maunalee, nobody will corrupt Angelina. Her family protects her like hawks from the music industry (her original "Shield" is about being protected by those that love you). They always have. They want a normal childhood and schooling for Angelina first, then a career. They have turned down every contract offer since 2014 including one from Disney, and have limited her appearances to fit her life and schooling. Thanks for a great heartfelt reaction to someone who will be a legend of the 21st century!

Why is it considered some sort of an "evil act" for an entertainment company exec like Simon Cowell to want to sign a tremendous talent like Angelina (who wouldn't), and why is so unusual for her to say no, when her family has refused every contract offer since NGT finished in 2014 including Disney? It's immaterial if you like or hate Simon, but isn't it his job as CEO of Syco Entertainment to try sign the best talent that he possibly can, so his company will profit? Why is phrased like "Simon wanted to get his hooks into her?" I believe he wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't try to sign top talent. I'm really confused by why an offer and refusal, if one took place, is considered so nasty and unusual just because it might in involve Syco/Sony.

Angelina Jordan went to public art school i Oslo. One of many free of charge evening school for art and culture for kids in Norway . We are lucky with the economics in this country and this "kulturskolen" culture schools for kids, exists in every municipality in Norway. kids get professional teachers in music, dance, theatre, fine arts and more . I"m an artist in painting and sculpture, and it is quite nice to be able to create projects for kids that our goverment pays good money for. A lucky country with lucky kids and some lucky artists :) I`ve heard that Angelina was in the "kulturskolen" from she was 4 years old - I do not know if that is correct - but it is not uncommon. It have given us a lot of talented young female artists, somehow it seems to fit girs to start early. I enjoy that, even thou I am a man - We guys have had to much power in writing the history - The " change is gonna come" :) I like the way you talk about music

I like all types of music but most vocalist don’t draw me in and entice me to stay to the end of every one of their performances. After catching one of the multitude of performances on the internet by Angelina I was hooked to the nth degree, and I had to feed my addiction. I had to listened to each and every performance over and over again even though some were songs I did not care for in the past. When Angelina Jordan, the once in a lifetime prodigy, performs her ART she takes the mundane and makes it ethereal. I don’t know how she does it but please, AJ, carry on.

I can't stop watching this performance. Not only is her singing both angelic and heartbreaking at the same time, when Angelina opens her mouth and the most effortlessly glorious sound comes forth. That voice echo in my soul. Breathtaking! Her voice is like a hummingbird floating around a feeder: You are hesitant to make a move, or speak a word otherwise it will vanish; it is like vapor appearing before your eyes: once there, all too soon gone. Both are shy people who turn into powerhouses on stage, both very generous and kind-hearted, both with rare, unique voices and the ability to sing anything, both possessing musical genius. This is the reason that none of us, you included, really cares if Angelina moves around or not, it is why when she starts to sing the whole place goes quiet. We are all spell-bound by her voice and by the arrangement she has put on the song. If you listen back there is not the usual noise that accompanies these performances. We are all sitting in awe and wonder waiting for the next note, the next run, the jazz influenced ending. We know what is coming and are still surprised with what comes from the heart , head, and mouth of Our Angel. I've said it before, I am a 68 year old who has never heard anything like this, or felt anything like this from anyone else. I still cry when I hear her sing, I mean every time. It doesn't matter how many times I have heard the song, she has me in tears within the first few notes. This why all of us seek these reaction videos, to share in that first time experience with others. Thank you Maunalee for your contibution.

@@RustyShacklefordChannel Rusty, you know I respect you greatly, but I'm really confused over this hoopla over the theory that Simon wanted to sign her, and Angelina refused. Isn't that his job as a music company CEO, to sign world class talent to his company and make profit? My goodness, what music company executive would not want to sign Angelina. She is world class, so why is it being portrayed as Simon is somehow evil and wants to get his "hooks" into her? Also, as you well know, Angelina's family has rejected every other contract offer since 2014, including Disney. So why is her potentially rejecting an offer from Simon so unusual that it needs to be portrayed as some powerful event worthy of her thumbing her nose at him? That's not Angelina's style, even in song. Marcelito is out there giving interviews complaining about everything. Angelina hasn't said a word. But basically giving Simon the "finger" musically doesn't fit her at all IMO. I find all this drama very unnecessary, and full of typical Hollywood tabloid hearsay and rumor.

I listen to many singers and different genre of music. I find many of them especially in shows like AGT are singing like parrots mimicking original artists, some better than others.When Angelina sings she sings like a canary creating her own beautiful renditions of these classic songs. Some singers might wow you, but no one can wow you, make your jaw drop to the floor, put a smile on your face and tears in your eyes all at the same time like Angelina Jordan does. Ever since I saw her on AGT Champions I don't think I have missed a day to listen to her. She is incredible. She doesn't adapt herself to the song she is doing, she adapts the song to her styling. I would like to hear her do "A man in a raincoat" that was done in 1955 by Marion Marlow. A real bluesy number that she would just kill. A tremendous soulful talen that is way ahead of her years.
