I bloody love this song. Currently my Number 1 by miles. I watched the semi final of the Croatian "Dora" was it? and, as you say they won by a mile. He's handsome, real name Marco Purisic. Baby Lasagna, real name Marko, is such a humble person as well. Super sweet and an introvert, who's being brave when he's on stage. He actually said in an interview that during his semi final performance he got so excited to see the audience that he had a hard time focusing on keeping his mic steady and close to his mouth. Again he's very inexperienced, but based on things he's said, he'll improve a lot! He's also revealed that Rim Tim Tagi Dim wasn't even supposed to be for Dora. He wrote it as a filler for his upcoming album, but a friend suggested him submitting it to Dora. The friend even suggested him making a Croatian version, but Marko revealed that he didn't because he was too lazy to do so XD Then the reserve thing happened, he got in and suddenly a huge favorite to win everything. And he wrote and produced the song himself. He's very much an indie artist turning huge overnight! This is my winner! Meow cat, please meow back! 😻

An excellent observation, thank you for your positivity and an awesomeee reaction. 💚💙❤ Through his stage presence, he is addressing a serious Croatian problem - emigration (from village to big cities) - but in his own unique way, incorporating elements like cows, meows, and screams into the lyrics and performances to make it an enjoyable and inspiring song, as otherwise it could be too sad. He also has a way of blending different music styles and tradition (parts of the dance and sleeves) with a modern (crazy) society. 🔥🔥 I somehow feel that he is demonstrating through his example (by confronting his fears in public as an introvert, showing kindness to everyone even when provoked, etc.) how he deals with his own 'demons' on his journey as an artist while becoming a bigger, maybe even a Eurostar. Thank you so much for this video! As someone from Croatia who has migrated to another country because of the ahem corruption ahem.. I absolutely relate to the song and many Croatians do. It is extremely common for Croatian people, and people from the Balkans to move from their countries in search for a better future. I also have to give you more love for mentioning that the sleeves are traditional and it saddens me that people complain that its stolen from Kärija ( don't get me wrong absolutely adore the guy!). And the doilies on the drums, guitar and face mask? So so good, highlighting traditional aspects even more! Doviđenjaaa love your videos 💜💜✨️

Both Käärijä and Baby Lasagna are big fans of Rammstein (the tattoo on Käärijä's chest is a stylized Rammstein logo) and their songs clearly reflect that influence, but that's kind of where the similarities end. Neither them nor Rammstein own the sound of industrial metal and none of them are the first to mix it with pop.

story behind song is that young people from Croatia going from home to work in foreigner country's to make money for living, that's why he sad on start "i'm big boy now" he is old enough to go on path where lots of young was before him , and then he say i sold my cow, he make money from selling cow to have enough money to start better life in other country and buy ticket for boat to leave, he make party for his village to dance with them for last time because its best way to cover his sadness because he is leaving his loving village and loving people behind. On official video you can see him how he is going away and waiting for boat thats why end of song have melancholy piano at the end of video and thats why he have that suitcase on stage you mention on your video because he leaving away, i hope i explain you whats song is about, in short: he is leaving his village and he making last party for loving people from his village for last time....also i want to add THIS WAS HIS FIRST PERFOMANCE EVER, he made song in his badroom and now is on Eurosong and he win Dora as back up because one singer give up so iconic
