Reaction - Batio-Appice-Sarzo-Cristea - Neon Knights - Covering Dio's Black Sabbath In The Studio

This is a reaction video to Batio-Appice-Sarzo-Cristea performing "Neon Knights" live at GoDpsMusic Studios. The players are Michael Angelo Batio on lead guitar (Nitro, Holland), Vinny Appice on drums (Black Sabbath, Dio), Rudy Sarzo on bass guitar (Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot) and Melody Cristea on vocals (Liliac). A wild and wonderful performance!

They actually did 7 songs together. 2 each from Batio, Appice, and Sarzo. 1 from Liliac (Nothing). This is the 1st one put on KZbin by GoDPS. The other ones are on the GoDPS music app. The did the song Heaven and Hell which was used on the Dio Cancer Fund tribute concert. It was the last song on that.

Yeah she is amazing. check out her band Liliac with all her other siblings. They are some very talented musicians. 14-23 years old, her older brother is an awesome guitarist and her older sister is an awesome drummer, her younger brothers are awesome at keyboard and bass guitar respectively.

Now this song they did as a promo for "Sawtooth" instruments which Sam and Ethan both have "Sawtooth" guitars and so does "Rudy Sarzo".

So here's another FYI for you Vinnie Appice has another band called "Vinnie Appice Sabbath Knights" not long ago they released "Melody" singing "Country Girl" with them that is also worth checking out. The show was last summer and they asked Melody if she would come up and sing with them and she sang 5 songs with them "Country Girl" being one of them. They are thinking of doing it again this summer and having Melody front the hile show this time.

Thank you Todd. The clip on the guitar neck is a quik tuner. Developed by Snark but copied a lot. Senses vibrations from the neck and allow you to look at it and tune a string very quickly. Not an effect, nothing. A simple way for a Live player to tune up or down. Godps sells them and I have a few and they work well and are very accurate.

It's actually a Chromacast string dampener invented by Batio. It mutes strings to prevent unwanted sound from them, especially during solos where an open ringing string can accidentally be hit/heard. I upon first seeing it, thought it was a capo but it didn't make sense since he only used during the solo, so I looked it up.

Honestly I don't think singing like this hurts Melodie's throat, her speaking voice has the same frisson as her singing voice. As for the tune, it was fun. It does fall far short of the bar set by Sabbath though. You nailed that.
