The Prime 1 Studio Batman Tactical Throne by Gabrielle Del Otto is finally going up for pre order at Prime 1 Studio and I have the price points, swap outs, and my overall reaction to this epic statue from Prime 1.

As you all know, Batman is a DC hero that is no stranger to Prime 1 Studio, but this statue of Batman is unlike any other that we have presented to you before. Based on a variant cover of Batman Vol 3 #111 drawn by Gabriele Dell’Otto, our artisans have pushed the boundaries of sculpting once again to capture Batman’s essence in this truly breathtaking statue.
Within the depths of the Batcave, Batman sits on his throne, ever so slightly slouched. He gazes out into the distance, deep in thought… Is he pondering about a mysterious incident or perhaps remembering a faint clue, becoming puzzled by its purpose? Is he reminiscing about his childhood and the very event that has led him onwards on his path of vengeance? One can be sure that he’s constantly planning ahead, striving to devise the most tactical scheme possible.
Let’s take a closer look at this 18-inch-tall statue. Batman is here, wearing his classic costume of blue and grey. Every inch has been sculpted with the utmost attention to detail. From the fabric wrinkles to the signs of wear and tear from his crime-fighting over the years. Just look at the careful use of shading that has been applied to perfection. Both arms are resting on his armrests, and his cape is seen drooping down to the floor, partially covering his left leg. Stalagmites are found all around his throne, which helps evoke the atmosphere of the Batcave.

I think that we can all agree that this will be THE centerpiece to many Batman/DC statue collections. Batman sitting in the Batcave, like a boss. Fenomenal statue. Batman looks amazing. But for me the biggest surprise to me was seeing Alfred in all his 1:4 glory. I truly didn't expect to see that at all. What a pleasant and unexpected surprise. The Alfred statue as a stand-alone piece is definitely worth the consideration. This is Grail worthy. No doubt about it. Prime 1 nailed this. Stunning statue 👍👏👏👏 price point is high, but I think still decent

It’s actually not a bad price, under $1k if you just want Batman on throne, then under $2k for all the screens and swap outs, then another $600 for the back piece. There’s a level for everyone, really good.

If you buy the ultimate version and you have the room, you can display the Batcave on the side of the Batman on throne so you can see both of them at the same time and display Alfred right in the middle.. food for thought The Batcave would be considered a big proximity piece?? but is it worth an extra $700?

Having actual working screens is completely crazy, this is definitely the ultimate Batman statue, really is incredible. And I think it’s great that Alfred is sold separately, because I’d say there’s a lot of people that want an Alfred to pair with their Batman.

I think you, as the BSC, should get the ultimate version as well as a spinning pedistal so you can see all sides of it. A lot of us won't be able to afford this piece, but it would be great to see it spinning in the background during the Rouges Gallery shows.

Am thinking deluxe version is the way to go. As cool as the back is unless you have a way to display it 360 it's not worth the extra $700. But I want the screens it gives off the whole batman cave vibe.

Hey Chris, if I remember correctly, the Batcave diorama in the back is actually detachable. So the Ultimate version is giving you both the Batman Tactical Throne and the Batcave Diorama. You can display them separately...I'm know I'm going to! ;)

Looking at their website, I didn’t realize that the batcave piece on the back sorta fits like punchline and joker. I thought if you opted not to go with the ultimate deluxe version that you’d still have the rock structure and stalagmites, but it’d just be closed up. No, if you don’t get the ultimate, you won’t have any of the rock AT ALL

The deluxe looks awesome until one of those budget LED screens dies and then the whole piece is ruined. I am very reluctant spend that much on something that is inevitably going to fail at some point. I'd be much more interested in what the screens look like when they're not lit up... you can light them up for special occasions and to show them off, and then turn them off the rest of the time (and the Batcave doesn't look like it has a power outage if they're not illuminated).

I disagree with you about the deluxe. It’s a center piece that is meant to be displayed in the center of the room so that you can walk around and admire it from every angle. You could put it on a rotating base but it would tricky to provide power to the screen. Not impossible but a bit overly complicated for the average collector. IF I do purchase it, I’d place it as the center piece and my DC collection would surround it.

I think it's great that they give you three options to choose from but definitely I would agree that you regular and deluxe version would sell out more than the ultimate cuz I'll do the ultimate peace is good unless you have a big turntable and a shelf to put the turntable it wouldn't do you any good compared to the deluxe if I was getting this statue I will get the deluxe better because you are displaying more of Batman and the batcomputer than you are with the miniature Batman and Batmobile I just love how they are advancing what statues look like I'm hoping they can give us USB power lightsabers in statues for any Star Wars character

My only complaint is that the leg muscles look unnatural. He’s seated, so the vastus medialis wouldn’t be so contracted and bunched up. It looks like a plump chicken breast just hanging out on his leg. And the sartorius is comically defined to where it’s distracting. Is he sitting on “The Throne?” Really bearing down and giving it hell?
