This round by Inkie shook people to their core. These sounds just come out of no where, this was when only one device was allowed. LMAO 10:42 Even look at Saro and Thorsen losing their shit. you can just tell lol, the Russian just makes the most electronic routines lol this was so unbelievable at the time. Beatness is just, perfect. He preformed all of his rounds sooooo clean, i actually forget how well he did sometimes lol. But yeah, that drop by inkie is legendary, we all became fans after that lol. My recommendation for another LEGENDARY round: Two H vs Alexhino

In 2018 specifically of all years, GBB Decided to announce the winners after the whole event was done on the first day to go through the next round which was on the next day. But they scrapped the idea, that's why you dont see the winner here. As for other videos where you don't see, they always show it unless you are watching a world championship by BeatboxBattleTv instead of SWissbeatbox. World championship, they cut out the judge decision from the video

I think the part of Inkie's second routine that you labeled as inward bass was actually inward liproll. It's always so tough to tell with the loopstation because they can modify sounds so much. Inward liproll is probably the most commonly used "heavy bass" technique in loopstation battles just because it's such a powerful sound. Great reaction as always and I very much appreciate your stance on reacting to battles and not compilations. Other reaction channels react to compilations and get confused because they hear a guy's rebuttal during a battle and then think it sounds bad/out of place. (And by the way I looked up "compilation" and turns out it's actually pronounced cahm-pih-lay-shin not cahm-pile-lay-shin).

I was thinking about what you said in yesterday's video about how you are planning on watching tutorials and learning new sounds and whatnot. A GREAT way for you to learn new sounds is to do it in front of a mirror so you can see what the person in the video is doing and then you can compare it to what you are doing. 9 times out of 10, once what your doing LOOKS right it usually sounds right too. This learning technique I've found personally useful with learning the inward lip roll, spit/BMG snare, and the trumpet sound (inspired by Saro's 2nd round in his battle against MB14). It'll be up to you to figure out how to incorporate video recording in this process. XD Maybe you can just save your mirror practice for your "behind the scenes" development? Anyways, big ups as always!

If the argument on your end has to do with personal aesthetics, there is no argument to be made. Logic is not made for emotions. In terms of sheer capability, his capacity to manipulate these electronica sounds are just beyond the pale. When Saro jumps up, you’re doing something right. In terms of sound and feel, his darker approach has a massive fan base for people who find that to be a means of expressing stuff that can’t be expressed unless it gets that dark. It’s experimental, to be sure. It pulls people in directions they’re not ready for, and that’s polarizing. If you end up on the other side of the fence, no worries. All I know is he speaks directly at me, and I know from my own musical library that my ideas of good music are a bit out there
