Yes, I know he said baking powder but I'm sure he meant baking soda....hope he mistakenly said baking powder...... because even the pack mention's baking soda...

@@BSirsakKundu am class 7 student ..see we know that this reaction is exothermic changes but your question is why??ans - because ,since more energy is released in this reaction in this heat ,the temperature went on ,and this change thus is an exothermic change

How have you sealed the bottle..? I have tried and the gas leaked from top rather inflating the balloon..

Here the gas is evolved in form of bubbles so this is also known as effervescence

Endothermic reaction. It took energy to break the baking soda and vinegar apart and energy was released when the carbon dioxide, sodium acetate, and water were formed. Since more energy was needed to break the baking soda and vinegar apart, the temperature went down.

baking powder is a complete leavening agent, meaning it contains both the base (sodium bicarbonate) and acid needed for the product to rise. Cornstarch is also typically found in baking powder. It’s added as a buffer to prevent the acid and base from activating during storage. Baking soda is used to baked goods like cakes, muffins, and cookies. Formally known as sodium bicarbonate, it’s a white crystalline powder that is naturally alkaline, or basic.

Probably nothing because it releases Carbon dioxide...and if carbon dioxide is inhaled in a little diluted quantity it makes no harm...

It is 10% dilute acetic acid
