Because it wouldn't make sense to make either Boruto or Mitsuki a chunin as well. Messes up with the manga timeline while Sarada being chunin is an almost given as she was already 'captain'-like during the Boro arc.

To be honest, i wanted tsubaki win this match, because i don't want scientific ninja tools won, but at the end denki use his own jutsu and I'm okay with it, also tsubaki battle skill and intelligence actually already chunnin level, she also deserve that, the way she figured out is like shikada and sarada who's really smart

No, tsubaki lost was her lesson and a part of her char development in the future. She understimates her opponents too much. While denki won was because of his char development since episode 1, his genius and hardwork. Imagine from a child who doesn't know ninjutsu and taijutsu to become like this.

Honestly even if the fight does happen, it's no contest between Boruto and Mitsuki. Mitsuki stomps Boruto with low to mid difficulty. Also HE'S A SAGE. Sorry, but that's just the harsh truth lol. However, if Mitsuki decided to keep his sage jutsu a secret then Boruto might have a chance. There's also the risk that if Boruto gets too low on chakra that Momoshiki could awaken.

Nah boruto has better tijutsu along with 3 chakra natures a karma, and if Mitsuki did body boruto mitsuki gets bodied by momoshiki

@@Lilbrowndumy Boruto's strongest jutsu is the rasengan, followed by his lighting style and water style (his weakest by far). Not to mention his shadowclone jutsu which is pretty mediocre when compared to other shinobi. His karma would work against ninjutsu, but if he tried to absorb any sage jutsu he'd likely not be able to control it and could undergo some form of petrification like what happened to those on mt. myoboku. Again though, if they fought now I think Mitsuki would hide his sage powers and it'd still be a mid level difficulty fight with Mitsuki edging out a victory. EDIT: also it's really just two chakra natures considering he never uses water style.

And I did forget about his high compression, but again in Sage mode Mitsuki would be able to read his movements and avoid it quite easily. I'm he's much stronger in the manga, but what the anime has showcased so far is that he's not on Mitsuki's level quite yet. I forgot to mention the fact that in both lighting and windstyle Mitsuki is better, not to mention feats such as defeating Shino (his instructor, who was likely the worst opponent he could have run into). He also has mastery of Purple lightning, something Boruto could only achieve with a scientific ninja tool. Let's not forget Orochimaru claiming that he was "potentially stronger than the sannin himself." He also held his own in a short fight with Suigetsu. Mitsuki is by far the strongest team 7 member, even dwarfing their captain, Konohamaru. He's likely jonin level at the least.

I didn't mind the MitsukiBoruto fight not happening. They could do a KakashiObito fight type. Where it transition from kid-adult. For thier fight maybe when they become a teenager and transition back to back to their fight on this day. A friendly fight or not. in a future maybe? But for now, I prefer Sarada being the in-lead.
