As an older Blues supporter, 6 or 7when I first week to St Andrews. Gil Merrick in goal, Brownie, centre forward plus loads of my childhood heroes, Len Boyd, Warhust, Govan, Spud Murphy, Kinsey, Smithie et al, finished going down thru work in 75, overseas for many years, now living "up north" Ive always been a bluenose and proud of it. Now I'm a few months of 80and never been more positive. We're on the up, no falst dawns, a young top manager, great backing from the board. I think it will be years and we'll be a power at the, in Europe a cup winner. Any other old bluenoses agree with me? We've only waited 70 odd years. KRO

I know the feeling Phil, just a couple of years short of you but I really do think that we are genuinely on the up. I'm not over ambitious and all I would like to see is the Blues lift the FA Cup before I pop my clogs.

I agree Phil we have to aim high in these moments. So whilst we’re in the third tier, there’s nothing wrong with these longer term goals and if we continue the same trajectory across the whole of the business and the club, then why not? It’d be lovely to see in our lifetime. Still the short term goal of getting us back in the championship and continue building the squad to push for the prem and be strong enough to stay there. Signing of the 2025 season will be Chris Davies as if we are promoted convincingly as champions, there’ll be clubs not just looking at his success on the pitch, with the style of play, coaching, keeping a big squad on side, but equally his transfer activity, spending well and getting the right players in. After all, getting a new team of 11 to gel quickly is quite a task. Getting a squad of 24/25 to do the same and keep the consistency in short a short space of time is nigh on impossible. Long may it continue! KRO pal. 💙🤍

Yoko and samsted are played later in the game as they are quick aggressive players. It makes sense to use Laird/TGH and Hanson to wear them down first.

Poor start with a type of goal we need to eradicate, after 10 mins grew into the game and looked more comfortable. Second half looked in control, just need to manage the last part of the game after we have made subs. Another great three points and hope we can stop picking up to many injuries

A game of moments. Our superior quality showed today. Crazy to think we had that much possession. The penalty save was a pivotal moment in the game. The save from Allsop really helped us to win that game. 3 great goals with the 3rd the pick of the bunch but all 3 were awesome. A massive 3 points. Now, onto the Bolton game. KRO 💙

Not overly worried about conceding the early goal. Most weeks we will have enough to win the game anyway. Slow starts are something that needs to be worked on throughout the season, next season we can’t be giving championship teams head starts in games. UTB KRO 💙
