💬I have to take this opportunity to introduce another reactor who’s worth some time, if you don’t know him already. @NihinduAngana is from Sri Lanka and is another underrated reactor who has been actively doing reactions for at least 3 years. He’s still releasing new reactions to this day. His intros are short, he doesn’t pause too much and he seems like he’s genuinely invested in his musical journey. It’s amazing to watch! I love Black Sabbath for how evolutionary they are. Like Maiden, they are an OG of heavy metal music. I hope you all enjoy this one and onto the next!💜

The drive of the drums and bass in this song set the stage for the development of metal. Ozzy's singing is unique, he seems to slide up at the end of each line. The lyrics are deeper than you might think on first blush. It was awesome in 1970 and still is in 2024!

fun fact; I tried to pass the lyrics for this off as an original poem for a school assignment in my 10-grade English class. the teacher read it and said "you know, hmmm, its pretty good, honestly this could work as a song", which set a few kids off snickering, and I TRIED to keep a straight face and then said "yeah, I was thinking some guitar like..." and then started humming the riff, and the class busted out laughing. ...she finally caught on. I, uh, didnt get a passing grade

Black Sabbath is the GOAT of heavy metal. Talk to most heavy metal and hard rock bands and nearly all of them cite Sabbath as an influence. Their use of drop d tuning and odd time signatures revolutionised rock music and all 4 members are masters of their craft. Great reaction compilation as always Momma.

I still find it surreal that the birth of Heavy Metal happened coz of an accident, Tony losing his fretting fingers due to a work-related accident created the foundation of what became METAL. His downtuned SG, Geezer and Bill’s driving rhythm section and Ozzy’s haunting vocals...it just all fell into place.

Brothers across the country were irritating the crap out of their sisters by playing Ozzy. Many of us tolerated it on the off chance that AC/DC or Led Zepplin would be blaring from the same room next. 😂 I’m sure he caught me head banging down the hall on many occasions. It was a trade off though, he didn’t like Motley Crue or Def Leppard coming from my room either. 😁

No matter how young u are, it still blows my mind watching people who never heard Black sabbath music... Let me continue being honest here,, people turned their backs on rock n roll because of rap music.. of course rock n roll died in the 90s more like 1996 was the last year.. The last ones were Down, and Alice n chains, after that, it died.. it'll never come back because you can't beat 1970s Rock.. can't do it..
