Creep was originally recorded by Radiohead in the 90’s. Totally different vibes from this cover. Haley originally stated her career participating in the 10th season of American Idol. She went on to record 9 videos with Postmodern Jukebox, a group that takes current songs and rearrange them into vintage style. Haley was raised by musical parents. She learned to scat from her father as a baby. At the age of 8 she learned to yodel. In high school she was the lead singer in the jazz band. Haley is adept at singing any genre, including jazz, blues, classic rock and ballads. Her favourite group are The Beatles. Two other songs with Postmodern Jukebox worth reacting to are Seven Nation Army and Don’t Speak.

great reaction veteran couple. haley reinhart is one the greatest, most unique vocalist of our time. postmodern jukebox (or pmj) takes current popular songs and completely re-imagines them vintage (1920s to 1960s) in the music itself and style of the performances that actually take you back in time. they have a variety of good vocals but haley especially with postmodern jukebox is incredible. all the other haley/pmj ones are great also: "all about the bass", "habits", "black hole sun", "mad world", "seven nations army", "oops i did it again", "lovefool" and the very recent "don't speak". i think what is so phenomenal about haley is not just her amazing silk to sandpaper voice but also her character and soul that she puts into the performances. even when she uses very little of her unique vocal acrobatics, her pure raw soft emotional vibrato voice is amazing like in the intro of "creep". you see this even more in her solo double platinum cover of elvis presley's popular hit "can't help falling in love" for an extra gum commercial which is truly stunning and frequently described as what love sounds like here: (kzbin.info/www/bejne/laaxoXiYqZyqldE ). enjoy! 😎

Great reaction you two!! So happy to see you again!! I haven't noticed anyone answering the Sax question. In this vid, it's a tenor sax. A straight sax (shaped like a clarinet... no curves) is a soprano sax. If there is one curve before the mouthpiece, it's an alto sax. Two curves (like you see here) is a Tenor sax. Three curves is a baritone sax. They also make a bass sax that looks like the baritone, but is larger, and has a bigger bore. Speaking of bore, I'll shut up now!

Haley; simply one of the best vocalists out there. She can sing ANYTHING!! Her stage presence is amazing, you literally have to watch what she does with her hands and eyes, crazy. Here she performs 12 of the 10 human vocal stylings lol. Anything she does with PMJ is pure gold. I would suggest the performance with her father (2 songs), at Chess records, just her voice and her dad's guitar. PS fun reaction. Original by Radio Head.

My favorite vocalist since she first appeared on American Idol in 2010. She doesn't have a huge fan base but she is a very versatile artist, from voice actor (F is for Family), actor (We Can Be Heroes), double platinum vocalist, cover several genres from rock, pop, jazz and even a smidge of Country. But since you're just beginning I think I'll mention a specific band performing a specific song from a specific live performance in 2013. Now before I go further, I'd best tell you that this particular video is the most reacted to video on YTube, which brings up the distinct possibility you are already familiar with this piece. The silver lining is they have a huge and dedicated fan base, and while they have toured world wide since 1997 it is true they are not that well known in the US. The band was formed in Finland and go by the name of Nightwish. I'm A big fan of one of the members who introduced me to this performance. Don't wish to reveal too much since one of the drawing points that makes reaction to this performance so popular is watching peoples first time reaction to something they didn't expect. Please, if you're curious, haven't heard them before and would like to give it a try, please use the link. As your channel grows there will be many suggestions and requests for this so I will not be the first or last to suggest it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/amjIkGxsZrSEjacsi=Mdn0IIjqHL1diBHo Regards. PS. And if you do Gabriel will show up with a lot of good info.

One suggestion for future reactions: do just enough reasearch on any song to learn if this artist is doing a cover of another artist's original song! If so, maybe react to the original song by the original artist first, and possibly even another artist's cover of it if this second artist was actually the artist to make that song blow up and is the rendition that is ( or was) the most famous before you watch and react to the requested artist's rendition! This way you will better appreciate the rendition of the requested artist!
@ConnieLeFanАй бұрын
Original song writer and singer is in love with someone he feels will never return that love because he feels he is too uncool and creepy. He has absolutely no self esteem whatsoever, and when you hear him sing it, it breaks your heart! Haley's rendition is a little lighter, and of course the band changed it from alternative rock/grunge to an old jazz chantuse style. That is was Post Modern Jukebox band does, they reinterpret popular hit songs of mainly rock and pop genres from the last 40 or so years as various styles and vintages of jazz genres. They use mamy difffent instrumentalists and feature different vocalists for different songs. Haley has been featured in about 10 of their songs, and they are all spectacular. She also has some spectacular original songs you should look into. She will never get the spotlight ro boost hercto superstardom as she insists on staying an independant artist and won't sign with a big label, so she will never be given radio or tv air time to rocket her to her deserved level of stardom. But maybe she is happy with performing on a smaller scale of ir means she retains complete control of her professinal choices. You should definitely check out all her songs with PMJ, plus many of her original songs, plus her songs while on The Voice back in 2010, which are all spectacular, and which she should have won.

Great reaction. Haley will always be a favorite since I first heard her on American Idol. It is such a shame that she is not a household name today with her level of talent. I am not sure of your background and favorite music styles. However, as veterans, I would love to get your take on Metallica's "One". If you give this a try, I strongly suggest that you react to the official music video with lyrics. Also, research the video before watching as you need to have context for your reaction. The "movie" takes are from a '70's movies entitled "Johnny Got Your Gun", which is based on a 1930's book about the fate of a WW1 soldier.
