Final performance of the show series and it gained her sufficient performance to win the series. They vamped this up in a dark Caberet/burlesque bombast.... but she had quiet a bad cold so it was exhausting and she didnt see her own performance till later at home ...its quite funny shes genuinely shocked by how she looks.😂😁🧙‍♂️

Great reaction! This performance was from a Russian show that aired last fall, and ran for 9 weeks. There were 9 singers who were also the judges and critiqued each other. There were 9 genres of music they had to perform over the course off the show. Thus Diana sang in many different styles. She also has a perfect pitch and her sense of rhythm was exceptional even as a little girl. Diana is a dramatic contralto, the rarest and lowest female voice type (her range C3-D7) and her voice sometimes has polyphonic overtones. I urge you to watch her performance of Rechenka at age 14 on the You Are Super show (for underprivileged artists). ..And to think that she was a bit ‘under the weather’ and the evening before had the indignity thrust upon her to have to take some seriously horrible tasting medicine to be able to perform the next day. (She does a lovely, funny bit of whining about it on tiktok, or instagram, cannot remember) She herself told that she had no actual recollection of the performance itself. It tends to happen to her when she’s ‘in the zone’. There is a funny, adorable ‘Diana reacting to Personal Jesus’ vid on her YT channel, where she watches her òwn performance in complete awe and bafflement, in a cute ‘Did I really do that??’ Way.
