I watched the entire episode of The Singer 2017, which is where Dimash and Terry Lin met during the competition. Dimash called Terry Lin his " LinPapa" and they remained dear friends ever since. It is amazing how they can be so close and not speak each other's language. Actually, all of the singers and producers from The Singer 2017 took Dimash under their wings, but, it was a special bond between Dimash and Terry Lin. Dimash did sing several songs in Mandarin on the show. Dimash is a very kind, humble, and caring person. Thank you for the video, even if I am 2 yrs. behind.

I also have Terry on my play list . He’s a great singer too . His version of Sam Smiths “ The Writings In The Wall” is awesome, he also does a Celine Dion song that is good and song called “ Making Love Out Of Nothing At All”, and he dies a duet with Di in one of Di’s songs . He was 50 then . He’s still singing and still great . He’s called “ Lin Papa” in re: to Dimash . They are close .

They met in episode 5 in I'm a singer in China 2017 as competitor in that competition and when they meet each other Terry said to Dimash you have a wonderful voice, good looking and good singer and Dimash reply to Terry Lin you are my favorite singer up to the end of the competition Dimash accept Terry Lin as like a father and thats why Dimash call him Lin papa.

That was his competitor on the singing comeptition they are celebrating Terry Lin. And they formed a very special bond. Actually all of his competitors became his beloved friends. They are so sweet to Dimash and loved him like a citizen of their own. Terry Lin especially called him “imported son”. He and Dimash became good friends and Dimash called him Papa Lin (he is much older than Dimash despite his youthful appearance). Dimash and Terri ended up singing together in some concerts. I’m watching on my iPhone, so the subtitles were too small to read. Always a good idea to post the link to the original video. That way I could watch and read the subtitles. In the case of a performance, people who have never heard Dimash before may want to hear his performance uninterrupted after hearing your reaction, to get the whole “flow” of the song.
