This is a beautiful song composed by Dimash when he was 17. The lyrics were about a girl he meets on an unforgettable day and falls in love with. Then in the last segment the girl marries someone else so the music and interpretation become poignant and heartbreaking. But: you MUST check out the version he sang at the Gakku concert. Dimash never performs this song the same way, and the Gakku concert is the day he, on the spur of the moment, threw out a D8, the highest note recorded from him!!! This note lies beyond the keyboard of a piano. And: I like that you don’t stop it. Keep doing what you are doing. Great job!

During this competition, members of his team are standing just off stage supporting him. One of them is Dimash’s interpreter. He speaks no Chinese so this guy is always with him. All of the competitors have someone with them for support. This is the best singing competition I’ve ever seen. From the orchestra, lighting, backup singers and accommodations for the singers, everything is first class. I am from the US and nothing here compares to this. I love watching your reactions. Your enthusiasm is much fun to see. I hope you are able to go to a Dimash concert when he starts touring. I’m older and won’t be able to do that.
