This "Ave Maria" is a fragment of the opera by Russian musician and composer Vladimir Vavilov, which Ygor Krutoy decently composed and arranged especially for the voice of Dimash. In the performance Dimash appears with a pair of wings representing the Angel Gabriel when he comes to announce to "young Mary" the birth of our "Lord Jesus the Christ". "Ave Maria" is a meditation, a prayer and considered the great mystery of birth and death when the soul descends to earth and ascends to heaven in return from where it came. The clothing Dimash wears retreats the polarities: the black represents the basic instincts rooted in the earth and the white at the top represents the purity of heart and soul evolution that finally evolved can ascend to heaven.

Masterful singing with many advanced vocal technique : “messa de voce “ from Italian Bel Canto technique at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, how difficult it is ! Oh my god, his skills🔥 only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. I mean singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note! Also, he sings with so much emotions, floatiness, and grace ! Even it is only a A vowel but so hard because it is so exposed. His breath control is insanely amazing! That sustained D6 with F6 on his super HEAD VOICE (I don’t think it is whistle, he does whistle on 7th octave only) are so good with the resonance 🔥🔥🔥

The official video has over 750 million views. A lot of people have covered the song since it first came out in 1965. Disturbed's version is the only one that Paul Simon put a link to on his social media pages. I've lost count of the number of reactions I've watched. The clouds, his eyes, the choir, starting a cappella, his face before he starts, the purity of sound, absolutely Divine sound from his soul. The first time I viewed this, from the moment I saw Dimash at the mic, moving slowly to the mic and bowing his head, eyes closed, something transcendent coming thru his body and face.....and then.....that first tone…….my eyes filled with tears......thru the entire piece tears.....and each time I've watched again…..the sheer etherial sublime heavenly beauty of his sound coupled with emotions of hope and compassion…….Even the choir is applauding at the end. I think it’s more than the “vocals” he is using that is so touching but the resonant beauty and the heart centered feeling of those vocals that is gripping and so moving….his singing radiates a light out over the world bringing much needed… warmth.....healing......comfort……radiance ……Light..…….. 🧚‍♂
