Thanks. Mom's name is Sveta. The old lady he bows to is his grandmother together with his grandfather that also actually raised him according to Kazakh tradition. They are awesome too!

Salem! Yeah, he comes by it natural as we say! That was his grandmother, who really had most of the responsibility of raising Dimash (Kazakh tradition). I am not sure but I think she is musical too.

Hi Jang, I agree with you that it is wonderful to see children performing with their parents as a family. It is also endearing for a performer to offer the performance to family members. You can sense the closeness of the family unit. Even though I did not comment on your last reaction video to Dimash, I just want to say that I respect and support your right to your opinion. For me, I think Dimash can do no wrong in his performances thus far. Anyway, Peace and Be Safe.

We have been celebrating 1st year anniversary each week for the past several weeks. Feb 2 was the 1st anniversary of Dimash's All By Myself, on the singer. What an incredible year Dimash has experienced and fortunately we have been blessed to witness it all unfold. I have no doubt that 2018 will be just as magical.

Jang - great reaction. Both of his parents are well known singers in Kasakhstan - his Mom is an opera singer and Dimash trained with her teacher too. Dimash has said his sister can sing, that she has a very good voice, but is too shy to sing on stage. Please don't feel bad about your disappointed review of Memories - we watch you to get honest reviews (I didn't like it either). Keep on reacting to Dimash - as you know he almost never disappoints!!

I agree that he probably did the lip singing but the only reason I can guess is because of parents who were not ready to perform live. It was the same event where he performed homeland song! I suggest to do the reaction for daybreak from BASTAU concert! You will be amazed!

Raushan Yessenbayeva just watch the video. I doubt the parent were not ready to sing live. They're both the famous singers of Kazakhstan who are familiar with the stage performance all their lives. Dimash also often suspected to have been autotoned but it's his natural voice that can reach a very wide range, like her mother who is an opera singer. His father sing, write song, composer. His grandparents who raise him also a traditional musicians/artists in his time.

I would say the last 10 seconds or so of the song is pre recorded as part of background music. The voice there was clearly younger which shows that the background music was recorded many years ago. But I don’t agree he lip sync the whole song yeah. That’s my opinion tho. Anyway since you are reacting to his ‘comeback’ concert, must as well react to another song from this concert ‘give me love’, I think it’s better than the one in the singer’. I have sent u the link previously, will be waiting patiently for that.

About his sister, Dimash's mother said that she sings and also plays dombyra (Kazakh national instrument), however owing to her education ( she goes to special school, probably science direction school) she is not performing now. Also, his younger brother plays dombyra as well.
