Mabuhay!! This is Mabo and Jimmy. Here is our reaction to Drag Race Philippines Season 2 Episode 8!
The mini challenge was "the library," reading challenge. But they had to read each other with hip-hop rap. It was messy, but super fun. I thought it was a nice idea that they changed the format like this every now and then, especially international ones.
Ms. Pangina Heals was the special guest judge of this week! Yaaaay Pan Pan looked gorgeous. She was giving critiques, but actually giving great advice to the cast.
(She also showed up in the werk room during Untucked and gave more advice to the remaining queens. That was veey sweet.)
M1ss Jade is so funny whenever she shows up on the confessional scenes. We were hoping for her to win a budge.
The maxi challenge was the shampoo commercial-making challenge. They had to create one shampoo commercial representing your brand within 30 minutes (35 minutes for the mini challenge winner).
Watching their stuggles during making process stressed Jimmy out. 🤣😂
Jade made a bad shxt crazy commercial and made the judges and us laugh so hard. But unfortunately, she exceeded 30-minute filming time limit, so she fell into the bottom three position.
With that said, 3 trans sisters fell into the bottom three and Jade was saved.
KatKat and Bernie had to do the lipsync battle. It was very emotional.
There was a surprise at the end and that made us happy.

Hugs to you! I was shaking during the lipsync battle. And Pan Pan really did a great job. I knew she has done great as the co-judge of Thailand season before. But, I feel like her critique was getting sharper, but not hurtful way.

its the same situation with Icesis Couture on Canada where she exceeded the time but she just kept going even though she was told to stop multiple times, the judges also didn't stop her, but they didn't let them win, so I understand why Jade was also penalized that way

I am just so happy that she did not fall into the bottom two. She did not win this week, but we definately do not forget what she delivered this week. In fact, it burnt my brain a bit. Hahaha 😂 We love her. It will be great if she happens to win next week.❤

I didn't think they would do a double shantay after the non-elimination last week. But this back-to-back non-elimination is more earned than the ones from RPDR 14.

This is football season and Mabo is working his ass off (he's in Sports Medicine and has to be there during the games in case of injury) + he edits all our videos... but he is doing well. I had dinner recently with Francesco, he's now working on his Masters Degree...busy, busy... but also doing well.

We tried it once for an older season. And it did not have any captions. It did not go well. After that, the Cutie Squads (our channel viewers) told us that they added captions to newer seasons. We have not tried after that. Once this storm of Drag Race is over, we will try again. Editing 4-5 shows reaction every week is too much for me.
