Kang (Pitta) is part of the Forestella quartet. He is a counter-tenor so he can hit the high soprano notes as well as the low notes. He also the only member with no formal music Training.

Thanks for your fresh reaction to Pitta (Kang HyungHo's solo artist name) of Forestella! I thought you would have seen the original as this is very famous number (song) from the musical "the Phantom of the Opera"..it would be more surprising if you knew this was originally duet song. You can find whose part he was singing in subtitle; a red rose for Christine and a mask for Phantom. His performance is so unique bcs this was not for solo singing! And he changed the accent in each character he sang as well. Even he changed the mike holding - Christine sang with stand mike and Phantom grabbed the mike while singing. I was also shocked even I knew he could sing like this - his first audition song was musical version of this. And it was very sensational as well. From since he first sang this song, he's been called Chri (from Christine) till now. Even he calls himself as Chri! LOL😆

He can sing four octaves, use a woman's head voice well, rock voice and low voice well. And the transition between male and female sounds is very fast! yes he's one of the tenors from forestella. this song is a duet between christine and the phantom and obviously he sings both parts. he performed this version on a different singing contest show where he competed as a solo artist and he made it all the way to the final. but his original performance of this was on phantom singer season 2 and he did it as his first solo audition at the beginning of the series. it's the one that's considered iconic. the video version gets zapped by JTBC every time but here's the audio version: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gmK3p5qbm9NllaM

I think you already noticed he was the one who sang "for me" in the opera part in Bohemian Rhapsody. But actually he was a research chemist who used to sing in an amateur rock band in his leisure time before participating the Phantom Singer 2 audition. He thought he could quit from the music regretlessly with criticism he would got. But BAAMM! Thanks God he failed to quit from music! He quit from the research chemist job instead. lol he was the only office worker in the show as the audition was designed for making a (good-looking) classical crossover quartet like il Divo from Korea, there were bunch of opera singers who majored in classical vocal and well-known musical actors. He stole the show with this number, the Phantom of the Opera. His audition clip has more than 3 millions views now only from Koreans as JTBC didn't release the video for abroad..if it was shown in the KZbin at that time, he could be known to the world like Paul Potts in Braitain's Got Talent.

7:03 those voices are recorded chorus MR by Forestella members. I could distinguish the voices of DooHoon and MinGyu. They support each other even for solo stages bcs they are the biggest fans of each other like their fans can never defeat! MinGyu even teased the fans saying "We wanna see Forestella so much" in his IG live, he said "I'm meeting Forestella every day~🎶 envy me~🎵" so cute but jealous indeed..😭
