Sorry for the long comment but there is a lot going on in the video that is hard to notice on first watch. So, Miyeon is upset because Minnie is dating her ex 😛 Miyeon is an influencer and made a post about her break up. Which is why Yuqi and Shuhua came over to cheer her up. Minnie is also an influencer with a lot of followers. Soyeon follows both of them and looks up to them. You can see her liking posts by Minnie at the start of the MV and later is looking at the party pics by Miyeon. She goes to the doctors for plastic surgery because she wants to be like them. The scene with Minnie is in her head. She wears the same clothes as Minnie cause she bought them trying to be like her too Also a funny thing about the scenes with Yuqi and Shuhua at the lingery shop. Soyeon comes to buy sexy lingery buy then they recommend her childish ones. Later when she comes back they even pull her to the children’s section 😂 The thing is, that even though Soyeon looks up to all of them, the others are also miserable. It shows that everyone has their own struggles even if they look perfect to you.

So, my theory is that Minnie and Soyeon are the same girl. Minnie is the outward appearance Soyeon wishes she had based on the amalgam of Yuqi,Shuhua,and Miyeon that she showed the doctors. Once Soyeon looks like Minnie she steals Miyeon’s boyfriend… but I bet as the album goes on Soyeon won’t be happy with everything she’s done and 5ge over all message if the album will be to be happy with who you are right now.

My theory is little different : Soyeon envies Yuqi, who envies Shuhua (near the end of MV), who envies Miyeon, who envies Minnie, who finds herself on top but in the end is not happy neither, the guy finally left her alone at the bar while others are partying...while at same time Soyeon is finally happy, dancing in her room with an oldschool offline walkman, without internet and toxic social networks, getting rid of the lesson to become a queen. But for real, only Soyeon knows what's the real story 😁

In the video,, Miyeon is devastated that her boyfriend dumped he for the popular influencer ( Minnie), but she's still pretty and popular and has friends to console her and take her shopping. Soyeon, however, doesn't fit in at all and thinks she needs to resort to expensive cosmetic surgery. Sad.
