I like all their 'eras' and sounds, but I will suggest that you dive into the first album Opus eponymous and my two favorites Elizabeth and Prime Mover from that album. There are, of course, Ritual aswell, that Kerrang listed as one of the most evil songs written. Enjoy! P.S. Isn't it good to have a second listen and realise that the first impression could be wrong! 😅

"From the PInnacle to the Pit" is my favorite, maybe? Between that and "Faith", but I love them all. The video for Pinnacle kind of matches up with this "Square Hammer" video, too, and I find the story told with them to be so interesting.
