Hello! Mr Dinosaur here! Johan (Yo Haan) Carlen, the video director, took inspiration from silent horror films as well as Stephen King's Carrie (OG film, not the remake. Fuck the remake Johan remarked in a BTS video). As for the song itself, Johannes (Yo Haan Nes) took inspiration from a book by Franz Kafka, Metamorphosis. They said this song took a very long time to perfect but once they did, they knew it had to be shared with the world.

Love Avatar! Such an underrated, amazingly talented band! "What to do when no ones watching, anything else means nothing".. Also, "All flesh is equal when burnt" from Hail the Apocolypse & "Life is so.. wonderful. Life is so.. beautiful. Stay awhile (also: Just smile).. no one gets out alive" from Black Waltz are some of my all-time fav metal lyrics. 🤘🖤

One of my favourite of their lines is "Night Never Ending, the weapons we bring are our souls!"

Damn, I even have a silver medallion with this line! ALL FLESH IS EQUAL WHEN BURNT!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘Also line "I look up to the sky but all I see it's the dirt I'm buried in". Like hardcore pessimist I feel that deeply. Also from Murderer "Shame on you who dared survive", just short essention of victimblaming.

@TheWolfHunterZ Please react to Brazilian singer Gabriel Henrique on America's Got Talent who performed this Tuesday and is already viral on the Internet. Gabriel has one of the most incredible male voices in the world. Thank you very much and hugs from Brazil.

i and a lot of other trans Citizens saw and heard ourselves in this song and video. Having to hide and keep our secrets small. Feeling like monsters. Even the club and dancing... It's pretty common that people tolerate us when we're attractive and presented as sexual objects, but then turn on us when we're not, just like you see in the video. But without embracing and breaking out of our shells, we can't become who we are and be free. I don't know if it was intentional, but it's how I connected to it.
