I love the “First Love.” I never really cared for raps until U heard BTS rapping. When I first heard the “First Love” U cried. Yes, I cried because of the dang song about Yoongi’s first piano. 😂 He rapped with so much emotion that I couldn’t help but be moved. I love Yoongi and all these guys. They are so talented but stay so true to themselves. 💜💜💜

We purple you because of your authenticity and openness. You value what we value. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Oh, and we fully understand how hard it is to read captions and watch the videos. J-Hope paid Young B and DJ Webster $2.7 million for rights to the song. It was an important song to J-Hope and Becky G (also on the remake) when they were young. Hobi/J-Hope does not come up with all the choreography. The have a in-house choreographer and work with other choreographers. Hobi learns the choreo quickly and can help the others. Also, when the perform for at a new venue or s tv show, they have to adjust the choreo. Hobi works on that. The members have worked together so long that they are able to give ideas and suggestions. Hobi is good in listening and accepting the suggestions, and cleans things up. The SNL stage was tiny and they performed Mic Drop which takes a lot of room. They were able to squeeze their performance to fit, and still make it look energetic. Hyung means older brother. It is what males call older males that they are close to. Females call older brothers and older male friends oppa. The Bangtan Universe (BU) is deep and heavy. It runs through their music videos, video games, a webtoon, notes in their albums (now available in a book). Get to know the guys and their music first. Armys will help guide you through the BU.

I’m sure others have said… welcome. These men, their music, their message, and this family/fandom have saved me and so many others. My life fell apart in 2020 but I found them and they put me back together, piece by piece. How they love us and each other is pure magic. From RM’s deep, introspective lyrics to JHope’s joy to Suga’s passion and fire. All of them are truly special individuals who have blessed us by opening themselves up to us for a decade. They healed me and taught me how to open up and feel and love ME. At the Vegas concert, I met so many women like me - as old as me or older - who pulled themselves out of extremely difficult times thanks to BTS. We will always be here to support you and them. You are one of us, we 💜 you! BORAHAE!💜💜💜💜 OH! I forgot - in 2020 Bang PD (CEO/Chairman of the Board) gifted all 7 members with shares in the company! BTS are the ONLY artists (I know of) that actually OWN a portion of their label! JHope paid for the use and gave a portion of his proceeds from Chicken Noodle Soup to DJ Webstar and Bianca! Only Suga and RM started out producing and songwriting in the beginning, but Bang PD made sure all of them learned all, to provide them with skills outside of being artists to continue to work in music long term!! Hi!...I just happened to fall into your reaction video on KZbin and loved it! I can see your authenticity as you reacted to the Guide to BTS video. Your reaction to finding out the meaning of Purple/Borahae/💜 made me tear 😢 up! There is a saying in ARMY, "You don't find BTS... BTS finds you!". It is so true! I happened to fall upon BTS during the Covid era. I was in a tough place and really depressed, as so many others were. This group of talented young men brought me out of this through their songs, lyrics, and such a great connection to their fan base. They truly believe that ARMY is a big reason they are where they are today. I have heard so many stories from others about how BTS music got them through tough times. These guys are like nothing I've ever seen before. I'm a 59 yr old and a grandma of 4, and their music hits all age groups around the world. I really think of them as my 7 other children in a virtual way 😄...I love them so much! I'm glad I stumbled across you as I did BTS. I hope you go down this BTS rabbit hole...it is never ending! And you ain't seen nothing yet! Wait till you see their MMA Award show performances...Mind blowing!! I'd recommend watching a few more of their music videos (IDOL, Fire, Black Swan, MIC Drop, Dynamite, Butter, etc) before you get to the award show. performances. And on a last note I wanted you to know the BTS actually has a recipe book, they show you how to make some of the guys favorite dishes. It would be fun to watch you make one of their Korean dishes. Thank you! You are one of the few people who took the time to really get to understand about the guys, by actually reading, watching, absorbing and commenting on each member. Much Respect. I'll be back for more BTS reactions. I'm an older US citizen who found BTS in early 2021 and never looked back. I really have so much love and respect for these 7 young men from South Korea. That clip of Jimin eating was from a trip he went on with Jungkook, who filmed him and it was his first film under "Golden Closet Films". The cooks in BTS started as Suga and Jin, but Jungkook became really good and lately has been giving us recipes and cooking for us on Weverse Live. Also, BTS now has 2 cookbooks, available on the Weverse Shop. As for the fandom, ARMY has some toxicity too, but the majority are good people and willing to help you out. Black Swan MV was my intro to BTS and I love it till - it's so artistic. Anyway, Borahae! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 Oh, and the ages they were showing were Korean age which was different than International Age. So, basically, when they said Jungkook started at 15, he actually started at 13 and debuted at 15. All of them were young - 15 to 20 years old - at debut on June 13, 2013. "No More Dreams" was there debut song. "We Are Bulletproof" was another early one. I'll let someone else explain more about the storyline, but it starts in the "I Need You" MV, I believe.

It's my favorite song off his new album, but be warned that it's about him examining his past traumas and learning to live with them. So both the song and the music video are pretty intense. Just know going in to it that the song chronicles his process of coming to terms with his past and come ng to a better place emotionally. (It's the last in the trilogy that starts with Daechwita, continues with Haegeum, and ends with Amygdala.) 💜

Jin doesn't create the visual effects. He is considered the "visual" (the best looking member) of BTS. Each Kpop group has a "visual". The term, "hyung" means "older brother". In Korea, it's considered disrespectful to refer to someone older than you by just their name. Instead, titles like "hyung, noona, unnie" precede the person's first name. For example, RM would refer to Jin as "Jin hyung". Loving your reactions! 💜💜💜

Korean Age vs International Age - difference is 1-2 years depending on if their birthday has been.... In most videos, including this one, they are giving Korean ages so you will need to adjust. (So JK was only 13 when he joined Big Hit in 2011 and 15 when they debuted in 2013. ) In Korea when you are born you are considered 1 year old. Then on 01 Jan every year you add another year to your age, no matter what your birthdate is. .... Year of birth - Actual age at Debut on 13June13 (Year and age became trainee) Jin 1992 - 20 yo (2011 - 18yo) Suga 1993- 20 yo (2011 - 17yo) JHope 1994 - 19 yo (2011 - 17yo) RM 1994 - 18 yo (2010 - 15yo) Jimin 1995 - 17 yo (2012 - 16yo) V 1995 - 17 yo (2011 - 15yo) JK 1997 - 15 yo (2011 - 13yo) Rule of thumb - if it's before their birthday - subtract 2 years to get international age. if it's after their birthday - subtract 1 year to get their international age. EG: TaeHyung (V) born 30 Dec 1995 ...... current International Age 27 (Korean Age 29). ... 2 years difference So Tae born 30 Dec 95 is 1 year old, then on 01 Jan 96 he is 1 more year older (so they would say he is 2 years old, when we would say he is 2 days old.) So he was considered 29 in Korea since 01 January, we would say he is 27 turning 28 in Dec. It's a different way of looking at age, from new years day - Tae is living his 29th year (since conception) - instead of - he turned 27 (since birth).... amazing reactions i love BTS because they are artists first and idol second. other kpop groups don´t write their own songs and the lyrics are shallow without personality. but whenever BTS perform or even in their mv it´s about them as family and having fun and you se how unique they are. i have watched many groups but none of them is like BTS. i have never been a fan of anyone before but BTS healed my heart when i needed it. they are once in a lifetime thing. just like MJ and the Beatles

Girl....your reaction is about the same as mine when i first saw these young men!! Im subscribing cause your so open to our guys!! Yes, it is a cultural thing and Americans would do better to learn from these young men.😮 I look forward to watching you fall into this rabbit hole like i did a few years ago after hearing them from my granddaughter. She lives with me so i had to listen to them before i let her.😊 I have to say, they've gotten me thru a lot of crap in a short time. I would listen to them while i sat with my husband having chemo and doctors visits. 5 yrs ago when he passed, i dropped so low and they were my comfort many nights when i couldn't sleep. Im just a disabled widow from the Deep South that has learned a few things from these unique young men.
